Island Quizine Restaurant & Catering - Woodlawn — Restaurant in Maryland

I have actually been to this location 2 other times since I moved to the area, both times the food in addition to the service was great! However, tonight.. which is my final time was not good!! Purchased a large ox tail, rice & peas and cabbage. Not sure if it was a new cook but the cabbage was very crunchy, not like it was the last 2 times and the beans in the rice was literally hard. It wasn't cooked at all! Called the location and the girl (short blonde haircut) Answered the phone, told her the food wasn't right.. specifying the issues.. her response was "what you want, your money back". I said, no.. do you have the same batch of rice and cabbage and she said yes, but offered white rice. I said ok, since I'm on my way.. since the food was good the last time. Got there, waited for like 5-8 they gave me a side of white rice! Lol.. I'm thinking they would take the entire tray back since I drove home and had to drive there and then back home.. nope just rice. No sorry for the inconvenience, nothing! It was like they had an attitude that the food was messed up! Then to top it off, I said y'all should really make a new batch, the beans are cracking open- it literally hurt my teeth when I bit in it. She said, "no one else complained about it". I placed a delivery order with Island Quizine. I never received my order they called me and asked if I ever got my food I told them no. They proceeded to tell me door dash stole my food. I told them I didn't order through door dash I ordered directly with Island Quizine they selected door dash as their delivery company. This order was over 100 dollars so I proceed to go up to the store to either get my money back or food. Once I got there they told me they just canceled the order and I'll get a refund from door dash 3 -5 business days. The customer service I received from them was terrible they tried nothing to accommodate not even offering me my food as a courtesy or giving me another option. But instead giving false information on who was actually issuing my refund. I have been a customer for years starting from the first restaurant they opened on Liberty RD. They have lost a long time customer. I am someone that uses their catering services and also several referrals. I'm done with...

Sooo I went here on a Friday night, big mistake. I ordered 2 jerk chicken patties, coco bread, Mac n cheese. Since I went late they ran outta chicken and Mac and cheese. Ok, so I just got beef instead. Only on the website it says after 8pm the patties are made to order. My beef patties were dry and hard inside. Clearly not made to order. Also they offered cake as a replacement for my mac and cheese? Why would that make a suitable replacement? Because of the language barrier my partner didnt understand what was going on when she picked up the food so that didn't help either. I think she was tryna offer cake cuz it was the same price. I wanted rice and peas or plantains or greens but no, they're out. Anyway, my partner ordered the stew chicken and she liked it so I guess the flavor was there(?)
