So we get there and it isn't terribly busy, it seems. But the waitress tells us to be patient because there are only two of them working. So we understood and were ready to wait patiently. We order three meals and an appetizer. A family walks in about 20 minutes after us and then orders too. About 20 minutes after that, that family gets their appetizers (one of the apps we had ordered), and we still have not even gotten our appetizer. A few minutes later we finally get our food (so an hour after we get there), but still no appetizer, and my pizza is burnt. The dough was like eating a burnt cracker and the toppings were scorched. We mentioned that the pizza was burnt and that we never got our appetizer, and it seems it was given to the family that came in after us. The waitress apologized and went to the kitchen to put in our appetizer and to have the cook out in another pizza for me. The appetizer and the pizza came out in about 10 minutes. So clearly food can be made faster than an hour, but it seems the family that walked in after we had already ordered was given priority.
The new pizza that came out was a lot better, but the dough was still not very good. It wasn't burnt the second time, but it was still like eating a cracker. They did put a good amount of toppings on it, though.
The fried mushrooms and their ranch dip are delicious. If I ever go here again, I will just...

While passing through Three Rivers, Michigan, I stumbled upon Frankie’s Restaurant, and what an unforgettable experience it turned out to be.
From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was off the charts. Our server, Izzy, was attentive, kind, and made us feel right at home. Not long after we were seated, the owner, Jay, personally came out to check on us—not just as customers, but as people. His warm welcome set the tone for what would be one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
The food was absolutely phenomenal—the kind of homemade, from-the-heart cooking that hits all the right notes. It reminded me of the kind of place you'd find tucked away in East Tennessee: a true mom-and-pop treasure with heart, soul, and flavor in every bite.
What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. After finishing our meal, my colleague and I stayed for two more hours, working on our laptops. Not once were we rushed. In fact, Jay stopped by to let us know we were more than welcome to stay as long as we needed. That kind of warmth and genuine care is rare these days.
If you're anywhere near Three Rivers—or even if you're not—make the trip to Frankie’s. Great food, incredible service, and the kind of small-town charm that leaves a lasting impression. I’ll...
Read moreIf i could take the one star away and just write a review i would but all i will say is i have worked FOH for over 25 years and BOH for the last 5 and im extremely disappointed in how our experience was handled and want to say costumer service was at their all time worst. Ive been plenty of times with the kids ive never been so stunned by the lack of training in how the situation was handled. Will not recommend and wont go back. Hair. Gross. My friend has short blonde hair and i have long past my butt brown hair and the black hair she pulled from the sandwich was short and not ours but yet we were treated like we planted it there, and got no sorry, no manager to come see us. I don't ever tip bad and its not like we dont have money to pay and tip the bill well but they still charged for half the sandwich which when she found the hair she couldn't eat no longer and left the place hungry which as a food person in the industry is a huuuge no no. So if your just a reg and dont care go here but if you want good service and a restaurant thats clean and takes care of its costumers dont go here. Super disgusted with how it all was handled. Coming from a kicthen certified food manager. Im a 30%...
