We got here about 30 minutes before closing. After working in the service industry for my years I try to avoid this but small town and work ran late and we needed something to eat. We ordered a 10 piece meal and was told they only had two pieces left. So we asked if they were making more. Employee became obviously upset at the idea and hesitated and finally was said well we can but you will have to wait 15 minutes for us to cook it. We said go ahead we will wait. She huffed and repeated you will have to wait 15 minutes we again said ok. She continues to show obvious signs of.being upset and seemed as if we ruined her day her job and she hated her job and us only coming to the window to take our money ran away and came back 10 minutes later handed us our food and rushed us off we enthusiasm. Food was cook completely and good. The food was pretty good, better than church's. If it wasn't for the time of day I would have rated lower but so close to closing time I understand just being ready to go but working in foh you are the face of the company. That company hired you with the understanding that your job was to make the customers experience pleasant and to the standards and beliefs of business itself. Meaning leave your emotions out the door and project a happy environment and emotions if the customer gets to be too much transfer or escalate to another employee, supervisor, manager or owner to de escalate, handle discrepancies and.give you a moment to collect yourself. With that being said our service wasn't out ruley or disrespectful just lacking proper training or in the wrong field of work. So I will go back with hopes that they take the time to remind employees leave all emotions (except perky, happy eager and ready to please) out the door. Home at home and...
Read moreWOW!!!! Here we go again. My husband & I were traveling again & we stopped at this Jack's since this is our half way point from home. While my husband was waiting for our food at the counter two employee's started having words with one another. My husband got our food and brought it to the table where I was sitting. He was telling me about the two ladies. Suddenly the argument had gotten louder and one particular lady was making sure EVERYBODY heard her. This went on WAY TOO LONG. Customer's who were waiting on their food and customer's who were sitting down trying to enjoy their meal were witnessing & hearing it all & they even had people who were waiting in line to order walk out. There were two men sitting in the dining area watching & witnessing it ALL along with EVERYBODY ELSE. We thought they were just customer's TRYING to enjoy their meal like the rest of us. This one certain female employee who just didn't care about the customer's nor the other employee's and she just kept on and on. My service dog was working & this was UNACCEPTABLE on their part to EVEN ALLOW this to take place. FINALLY one of the men who we thought were just customer's got up and walked behind the counter to talk to the two lady employee's. THIS DIDN'T EVEN PHASE THE ONE LADY AT ALL. As a matter of fact the lady who was SO IRATE PROCEEDED TO USE FOUL LANGUAGE when this man went back behind the counter & she was even raising her voice at him & throwing her arm's in the air pointing at other employee's. It's a SHAME this wasn't STOPPED IMMEDIATELY INSTEAD OF ALLOWING THIS TO ESCALATE. This was also being VIDEOTAPED by several of the customer's who were witnessing THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR BEING ALLOWED...
Read moreThese ladies have always been very good about serving me. I've rarely seen fellows in that store so i can't comment on them too much.
Never a bad word, almost always it ends with "have a good morning/evening" and that's nice way to end an order experience.
If there has ever been a problem with an order there have never been any arguments, they just fixed the issue and THAT is how you do business.
There have been an influx or temp employees i wasn't too sure about but the business can't be blamed for that, they have to take/train who they get and generally they pick the best of the employees to keep there. I have to give them credit for that, if there is someone who isn't up to it, they generally replace them with someone much more capable and that's a very good quality.
They're generally pretty fast around the high traffic times of day/night and they keep a clean restraunt. Always an excellent experience and 98% of the time the food is top-notch and, like i said, if there is a problem they fix it.
I can't say enough good things about this Jacks and i've been to a LOT of them (every one of them for the surrounding 60 mile radius). I've had both dine in and take out experiences here and they were great.
Coming from a lower Birmingham/Tarrant/Center Point/Pinson existence of experiences, they are certain several steps up in quality, speed, and service...
