Lulu's BBQ — Restaurant in Locust Fork

Absolutely love this place. We haven't had anything that wasn't delicious! We always try to get the BBQ baked potato, but they sell out so fast! One employee suggested that we try to loaded fries instead and now we're hooked. My husband tried one of their burgers yesterday and it was PERFECTION. It tastes like a burger your dad cooked in the baack yard when you were a kid. Juicy, fresh toppings, great sauce, and a large burger (like she THICC). The sweet tea is fresh and not too sweet. Milkshakes are always good! There aren't enough words to describe how good, crispy, salty, crunchy, and fried to perfection the onion rings are. Trust me. Get them.

Honestly, I don't think there's a wrong choice here. You won't be left disappointed or hungry after ordering anything from here. The proportions and quality are excellent for the price. It's a weekly stop in...

I left off a star because their food is incredible but they have catered to their drive-thru business and they hardly ever answer the phone. Such a shame because catering to walk-ups cheapens what is ultimately an amazing place. In this way they are establishing themselves as a fast food place when the quality of their food is anything but. If you're willing to sit in your car and wait for the food there isn't an issue beyond the fact they never seem to be open. They have a set schedule but they regularly shut down unexpectedly. The lack of consistency in their availability coupled with having to drive up and order like it's a Burger King and not a 5-start BBQ place is holding them back! But I still believe they will realize this eventuality and continue to give them my business. You won't find a better pit master...

It would be great if you would cook some chicken leg quarters or half chickens on your smoker out there in the back and offer them on your menu!! I buy them often and get a large bag for around 6 bucks regular retail. You guys offer some nice options like the French Fries covered in pulled pork and toppings...one of our favs. However the fact that you only offer breast meat keeps us from visiting often. I've nicely mentioned this to your staff on more than one occasion requesting this inclusion on your menu....as we WANT to support your business. Your business is located close to our home and if you were willing to include this inexpensive option on your menu we would be able to financially support your business even more.
