This was a nice place to stop at and enjoy a beverage and a treat (hot coffee and a slice of apple coffee cake). The cake was moist and simple. I like desserts that aren't overly sweet. The atmosphere was beautiful! I found a place to sit that overlooked the river. It was so cozy! I heard Colbie Callait playing in the background (loved the music)! There was a 1980s card game sitting at the table I sat at that looked super fun to play with a group of people. The place was clean and cute, with gift items for sale (bath bombs, cards, artwork, bracelets, etc.). I spent $4.95 on the small cup of coffee and the piece of cake. It was very affordable and a super serene and chill place! There was a lot of space. The whole time I was there, I only saw 4 other people come and go. The bathroom was easy to find, labeled "4U2P." ๐ The place has real character and charm. Besides, the name is super clever! Great place...
ย ย ย Read moreLovely bakery/coffee shop! This was a completely unplanned trip; I was drawn in by the name. I was a little disappointed that the only cupcakes for sale were either gluten free or a 6 pack. There was a nice selection of delicious looking muffins, cookies, and bats. However the pumpkin cheesecake looked yummy and wasn't something that I could easily whip up at home. The cheesecake wasn't overly pumpkiny. I think the baker used grated pumpkin rather than canned. I enjoyed that it wasn't overly sweet. It was dense and creamy. I also had a piece of mushroom spinach quiche. I would have loved a little asiago cheese in it, but overall, my meal was very enjoyable. I truly hope that this shop pulls in the business to continue to stay open. I appreciated that staff and customers were masked and maintained distance. I haven't been able to leave the house much due to a family member's health. This was...
ย ย ย Read moreHorrible customer service. I just stood in line for over 10 min and ended up leaving. There were two people in front of me, one who was ordering bakery and coffee and another who was just picking up cookies. The first order took awhile to complete which was fine, but then the girl working the register had no idea what was going on and couldnโt even figure out the pickup order. She had to get someone else who got it sorted but then the credit card reader wasnโt working. Another employee stood behind her and just said to the customer in front of me โitโs brokenโ and walked away leaving the other worker not knowing what to do and the customer standing there with her hands in the air. All I wanted was some coffee and I wonโt be returning. I suggesting training your employees better in customer service...
