I’m always skeptical when trying new pizza / Italian places in tourist towns. This place did NOT disappoint. Holy moly was their cuisine the most solid I’ve had in a long time.
The parking lot was my first clue that this was going to be good because it was packed, customers were filling every seat and for good reason!!!
We got the garlic knots, fried ravioli, penne with chicken and red sauce and a calzone with chicken, jalapeños and pineapple.
The knots were perfectly baked with a little crisp and a good chew. No sauce needed because the garlic butter and parm on these bad boys packed a seriously unbeatable flavor. Dipping in marinara just made it even better.
The fried ravioli was better than any chain restaurant I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside and warm with a good cheese pull on the inside. OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS.
The penne was served with a real grilled chicken breast. Not any of that weird pre cut frozen stuff you typically get with Italian restaurants. ITS THE REAL DEAL!!!
the calzone was absolutely perfect. Cheese was perfectly melted on the inside and plenty of toppings were stuffed in that amazing pocket of dough and crusted with parm and butter!!!! AMAZING!!!
I can’t wait for our next trip out here so we can come back and try more...
Read moreI recently visited Papa Dino,s and had an amazing experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure I had everything I needed.
The pizza itself was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I tried the supreme pizza and it was bursting with flavor, with just the right amount of toppings!
But what really surprised me was their fettuccine Alfredo. It was creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce had a wonderful, velvety texture. It was easily one of the best fettuccine Alfredo dishes I’ve had. The tater kegs were just to die for! They had just the right amount of spice and heat to them!!
Overall, Papa Dino’s exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit for any pizza lover. I'll definitely be coming...
Read moreI'm always looking for good pizza. My last visit to Hocking Hills I was recommended Pizza Crossing. In my opinion, absolutely terrible! ..... My visit this week I searched again for good pizza. I found this place Papa Dinos driving on the way to my cabin. After a long day of activities I decided to stop and give it a try. First I liked the very nice decor and theme they have going on. Sitting on the porch, the table tops are made from old wooden barrels and high swivel chairs, made it very inviting. The pizza came out fairly quick. The pizza itself, far better than any pizza I've had in the area! Very good pizza! The people were very friendly and helpful.:)) .... The only thing I would add is to include a fountain drink machine and ice for soft drinks other than that I highly recommend Papa Dinos! Don't waste your time at...
