I have nothing but good things to say about Sals Pizza. I don’t usually go there offen, but if I do, I'd go on a Saturday night. The waitress is very nice & friendly. I was there last night, Saturday, 30th. Celebrating a friend's 69th Birthday & singing karaoke, but then things had gotten a little out of hand near the the end of the karaoke show. Since I have put my song back in rotation, the KJ told me I could not sing the last song of the night which was my closing song: "Goodnight Sweetheart." There was plenty of time to sing the last song, otherwise I would not put in the request to sing the closing sing. He rather close up the show earlier than get me up to sing the last song. I argued with him, after those Last 2 singers, you have 9 minutes to spare! My song is only 2 minutes long.... the tip I gave him earlier, that Karaoke KJ had angerly aggressively shoved Tip back in my hand. I threw it back at him. I don't need the money. It's the purpose of it all.... Karaoke KJ's are supposed to be for the singers. This karaoke guy that works for sundown entertainment. Is that the company name? He sowed me, he's only there for the money and leave. I'm not a great karaoke singer. I don’t if I never sing karaoke, but if I really know, there is no time for me, I'll gladly have a seat. I know one thing a Karaoke KJ like that guy doe not deserve a tip. If sundown entertainment hasn't reviews, they wouldn't be happy with my review. The other guy pushed me back 7th in rotation when I was supposed 1st in line. Not that I care, but when a Karaoke KJ does that to a singer, that singer may feel as if they really suck that bad? Pushing someone back in rotation can cause you to lose good paying customers that come to sing. I really like coming to Sals Pizza, but only if you get a new karaoke KJ that is Fair, & not just there for the money and or favoritism, then I might start going there every week. I like...
Read moreTerrible 1st experience. Ordered 2 12 inch speciality pizzas and paid over 41 dollars for them. Apparently they charge for additional ingredients, but silly me for questioning what additional ingredients are on a speciality pizza?! Suggestion is to put the actual costs of your speciality pizzas on the freaking menu. Because had I know I was going to spend 10 bucks on toppings I would've never ordered it! The menu doesn't have any annotations on the speciality pizza add ons costing more, just an ingredient add on under the pizza heading. Such a shame we heard great things about this place. Maybe when people are ordering on the phone give them their total price because had i heard 40 bucks i would have...
Read moreI've lived in the area for 6 years and never tried Sal's. Had a craving for pizza this eve and have been trying to support local/small businesses and ordered from Uber Eats. We ordered a cheese pizza and fried mushrooms. The pizza was good. Thin crust, very cheesy. The mushrooms however were disgusting. The bag itself smelled like what I can only describe as wet dog. When I pulled the mushrooms out they smelled the same. Why I even attempted one I didn't know, but I tried one and spit it out and dumped the order. Can't for the life of me figure out what that smell and taste actually were. Glad I ate a couple of slices before having my appetite spoiled by...
