Daddy's Kitchen — Restaurant in London Britain Township

We have been here several times and always get mushroom soup. Attractive place. We have had same sweet heart server. They do introduce new items but nothing that might be off the beaten track. Standard fare for basic breakfast, lunch & dinner. It is super clean and quietbeautiful watercolors for sale on walls. Having said all this I am curious to see if they do anything about the feedback I gave our server. Some establishments do not bother with one complaint until others start voicing same.

Had to send back water. Increasingly customers will be noticing such details. PLASTIC glasses, unecological straws, are going to be on people's mindful awareness of what is happening to our environment. A small detail maybe not important to management since there is no dearth of customers and it is the only restaurant of its kind for miles.

I usually do not waste words on reviews since this small bug a boo about the water seems trivial in view of all the discord & tragedies. However refreshing it would be if next time we went there were real glasses, with unadulterated water. Daddy's Kitchen could invest in glasses people might even want to purchase & would add some old fashioned refinement to the establishment. ¿ Not cost effective? Seriously check out dishwasher, ice maker and water being used has SODIUM/CHLORINE taste.

I happened to come across this small restaurant on one of my trips from my home in southern Delaware to my former home in Pennsylvania. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall and off the beaten path I decided to take a chance (I was hungry) and went in for a light lunch. I was pleasantly surprised. One thing is for sure, they make the best mushroom soup I've ever had. Of course Daddy's Kitchen is located in the heart of southern Pennsylvania's mushroom country so I know the mushroom were fresh. Oh so good this soup! I also love good French Fries. Again, I was not disappointed. Daddy's Kitchen has always produced hot, crispy, tasty fries as a side dish. In previous visits I've had several chicken wrap which were excellent. This past Sunday I had a "chargrilled" hamburger. I asked the waitress if it really was "chargrilled". She said she didn't know. Again, I took a chance and I found out the hamburger was not chargrilled but the standard defrosted hamburger patty, which didn't have much beef taste in spite of the fact that it said "Angus Burger" on the menu. However, the lettuce, tomato, bacon and roll were all excellent. Only problem was I missed the chargrilled taste and had to keep adding salt to try and retrieve some beef flavor. I can't even breathe I'm in so much deep love for what y'all do. My co-workers and I have ordered from you three times in the last week and when I tell you we clap our hands when the door dash guy pulls up lol. My one co-worker is a pescatarian so she doesn't eat any meat but she will eat fish from time to time. So when she saw you had avocado toast she was really excited. Most places don't. She doesn't really care for dunkin' donuts and Starbucks cuz it's just mass produced when it arrived. It made me want to eat avocado toast. It look like Martha Stewart made it. It is the most beautiful piece of edible art I have seen ever show up in a red bag. And I door dash on the weekends. Your food takes time so if people want a fast delivery this ain't that. But that adult grilled cheese that bacon, egg and cheese on the french roll. They said your ice coffee is the bomb. I don't drink coffee but it looked beautiful. The french toast, the pancakes, every single thing we have ordered from you has been exquisite and fresh. And you little fruit cup is adorable.
