Boomarang Diner - Lone Grove — Restaurant in Lone Grove

Never been here before, but I’m not one for eating bread. So they offer a “burger in the rough” where it states on the menu “your favorite burger on a bed of lettuce”. I thought, perfect! Ordered the guys the JJ burger and fries (no complaints) and the original burger and fries (no complaints). I opened mine up and thought instantly “what the hell”. I always over rate places and I’m probably doing that in this instance too, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt. I did call them and explained my confusion and the girl was very nice and explained since this burger doesn’t come with lettuce it doesn’t come on a bed of lettuce, which makes sense but the way it’s stated when ordering it specifically “in the rough” I thought it would have lettuce… if I wanted a burger with no bun I would have said “no bun” For two burgers, my “burger”, and three fries the order was nearly $40. I know life is expensive but for what we received, quality and quantity it...

Will not return! Order was messed up, and missing food. Ordered 2 adult 4 piece fish meals, and a kids cheese burger with fries. I have a 30 minute drive, both ways. Whenever I got there to pick my order up, I went inside and did not get greeted till a few minutes later. They were busy, but couldn’t even care to give me a “I’ll be with you in just a minute”. Whenever I got home and realized all I was missing was the kids meal, I left to go pick it up. Should’ve checked it before I left, the first time when picking up the entire order, that one’s on me. What they gave me instead of my actual order was , 1 adult 4 piece fish meal, a kids fish meal, and NO kids meal. When I picked up my missing order, there were barely ANY fries with it. Food is good but the portions are small.

Hashbrowns were tiny and when we asked for more, 2 people came out and explained why it wasn't a lot (because of corporate is getting on to portion control). That’s fine but don’t tell me your whole story about why it’s small. Apologize and offer to provide more for $X.xx Egg sandwich was 1 egg between 2 slices of Texas toast so you couldn't really taste the egg part of the sandwich. No one offered a refill on soda so I'm assuming it costs money for a refill now because of their "new policy".
