Jersey Girl...The Grill — Restaurant in Long Beach Township

I do not recommend this place. Long, long wait . After an hour we left, even though we already paid for the food. I asked someone behind the counter if he would check on our order. He sushed me saying he was helping a customer who was standing there on the phone getting instructions from someone. I waited while the employee did nothing but wait for the customer on the phone to finish conversing. All I wanted was a simple question answered. I too, was a customer. At that point my companion said "let's go", and I was more than ready. Generally, I'm a very patient person but this was beyond the pale. There was an outstanding end to this story however. We went to the Bluewater Cafe, which we never thought of for breakfast. We were seated immediately, outside, next to beautiful flowers. Served by a friendly waitress. Linen napkins, free refills on our coffee, real silverware, real dishes, plentiful portions. And the price was comparable. We used Jersey Girl to cater our breakfast and lunch the morning of our wedding, along with the brunch for the following day. I spoke with a lot of places on the island, but ultimately went with Jersey Girl - best decision! Kristin was the best to work with and made this one of our easiest vendors (not to mention so affordable). The food is delicious and right from their main menu. You pick out what you want, how many people you have, and she does the rest making it a catering order to have enough food for your group. Our bridal party and brunch guests all loved the food. Out of FOUR separately deliveries (brides house, grooms house, venue, and brunch location the next day), the only hiccup was a forgotten box of coffee for brunch and as soon as they realized they came right over with it. I can't recommend Jersey Girl enough for all those brides getting married in LBI!

Ordered two bagels, server brought only one. We asked if the second bagel was coming soon she said we only rang up for one and showed us a kitchen ticket for the one bagel that had been delivered. We asked what happened to the second bagel we ordered as we had paid for two bagels. She again said we only ordered one and she could ring us up again. We went up to the register and she then saw on their computer that we had ordered two and gave us a very rude and snotty face and said “ok then let me get it geez” we went back to our table that same server returned dropped the bagel off didn’t say anything and stormed off.
