Danny's Seafood — Restaurant in Long Beach

Danny's is the best! Not only can you get amazingly good food, but you can get great prices on seafood as well. The owner is super friendly, as are the people who work for him. We were given a tip from the lady we rented our vacation home from, that this was a " must go to" place for great food and we have not been disappointed! Not only did I think it was great for us, but we took the whole group there to eat. Everyone agree that the food was truly amazing. One member of our party said it was the best catfish he had ever eaten, and I agree. We are only here for one week, and we have been there three times already. We will definitely be returning again a couple more times before heading home! We have tried something new from the menu with each visit, and it is all equally good. My Filipina wife said they make the best fried rice she has ever had. That is a HUGE compliment coming from her. Drive a few extra miles for dinner if you must, I promise you won't be disappointed. Wow. Don't know how I never found this place before! Just one look at their menu and all the food options they have will set your taste buds going. The options to have Stir fried rice or Stir fry noodles instead of French fries sets them apart from most places. And it has to be the best Stir fried rice and noodles I've had on the coast. Lots of meat, fresh cut vegetables, egg, done right, everything served hot and fast. Oh and not to mention low price perfectly done spicy crawfish and 3 different kinds of boudin ready for you to eat. So many options it's going to take me a month to go through them all. My husband ordered a sauguge boil with corn and potatoes…. Talked to Danny to ensure his order would be cooked properly… We were told the order would be ready in 10 mins…. The corn was dry and absorbed all the seafood ( my husband found out after biting into the corn)… Instead of cooking fresh he just rushed the order… My mother ordered gumbo and the gumbo was ice cold and the vegetables were hard and crunchy… After my husband bit into the corn he had an allergic reaction… We called back and Danny told us everything was freash???
