It was great to see another Posado's since the Frisco location shut down. Definitely not the same great experience as those from Frisco. Missing a lot of the original entrées from the menu but still the same Tex-Mex feeling and taste. The kids and I felt the waitress was nice but we often had to ask for things. We had fallen in love so many years ago with the hot fresh homemade tortillas and warm sopapillas and unfortunately here it seems like the are forced to offer them to you. They have cut back on some of the ingredients in the tortillas, I'm guessing for cost. COVID-19 precautions are very lacks here but do have social distancing for the tables. Curbside pickup is available as well patio seating. Hopes were to enjoy our favorite restaurant 3 hrs away from home but fell short from our original Frisco location.

Eat here. Wonderful, fun decor with good food. This was my first time here, and I enjoyed it. The burrito I had was delicious as was the beans and rice that came with it. My dining partner liked her cascadia but didn't love it. The restaurant passed the smell test as we approached the establishment (if it doesn't smell good I won't go in), and we were greeted warmly. The temperature was just right too as we were guided to a comfortable booth. The waiter could have been better as he didn't seem totally there, and he got my order wrong. He did keep my Coke filled, a big plus, and he left us alone once we were served. The price was on par with the quality and quantity of the food. So eat here and have a good time.

I’m a vegetarian and gluten-free but married to a dairy sensitive carnivore. We sometimes struggle to find places while traveling. This Mexican restaurant is far superior to others (even those chains or higher rated). The food is way better than Papacitas! I had the mushrooms and guacamole appetizer and then got some tortillas and rice to make my own yummy spin on tacos. Friendly service and nice patio. Tons of options. If you’re a drinker, good margarita deals on weekdays. 10/10

Yesterday was horrible. Waited over 30 minutes on waitress to take our drink order. Then it seemed like forever for her to come back with our drinks and to take our food order. Asked for napkins 4 times then the manager finally walked by our table and we stopped him to ask for napkins. He immediately brought them. The waitress was extremely rude and had a attitude. There was a few people in the restaurant but not a whole bunch. We had to wave another waitress down to refill our drinks. Then it took her forever to bring us our food. We did nothing to the waitress for her to be as rude as she was to us. Asked for to go boxes in which it took her 20 minutes to bring them. If we had not wanted Mexican food so bad we would have left. Not sure If we will be back. Spent $ 60 on the food and didn't even get to eat it . When she was to bring the food out. She stopped over by where they do the tortillas and walked off but left our food there. Had to ask the manager to get her to bring it before it got cold. We just got to go boxes and she was so rude that we didn't even eat it all. When she saw we were leaving she brought us our ticket and it was tip time. She changed her attitude. We did tip but not her we gave the manager the tip and asked him to split it between himself and the other waitress that we had waved over and she helped us a couple times. And we weren't even in her section. The worst service by a waitress we have ever received only gave 1 star but that's to many and it wouldn't let me...

Dining at Posados in Longview, TX, is like taking a flavorful journey through Mexican cuisine, all without leaving your seat. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for everything from casual lunches to celebratory dinners. However, what truly sets Posados apart are two standout features: their homemade tortillas and excellent salsa.

The homemade tortillas are a dream—soft, warm, and freshly made right in front of you. They serve as the perfect canvas for their array of entrees, adding an authentic touch that truly elevates each dish. There's something deeply satisfying about tasting a tortilla that's crafted with care, rather than pulled from a package.

And then there's the salsa. Served freshly made and generously portioned, it packs the perfect balance of heat and flavor. The chunky blend of tomatoes, onions, and spices adds a kick that complements the tortillas and serves as a delicious precursor to your main course.

The staff are friendly and attentive, rounding out an already exceptional dining experience. It's evident that Posados takes pride in their food and customer service, making every visit a memorable one.

In summary, Posados in Longview offers a fantastic dining experience highlighted by their homemade tortillas and standout salsa. If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine served in a welcoming setting, look no further. Your taste buds...

The food is decent, but the service sucks. I called in an order for two large chicken tortilla soups. When my son returned home with the soups, I opened them and there was literally only chicken broth and avocados in the cups. So I called and asked to speak to a manager (Evan) he implied it was left sitting on the bar for 10 minutes before my son arrived to pick it up. So, if I'd gotten there immediately after it was brought out of the kitchen, there would have actually been chicken, tortillas, and veggies in soup??? He said well it settles to the bottom, I said sir.....I stirred the cup of soup before I called you but the broth is so transparent that I really didn't need to because you can see straight to the bottom of the cup. I took the soup back, got my money, and the staff at the bar looked in the cups (after I requested she do so) and her face told the story. The manager did come over, never apologized nor did he offer anything complimentary for my inconvenience. At that point I did help to educate him on the importance of good customer service. It definitely needs to be the focus from the top, it drives sales, it keeps customers coming back. The best marketing tool a restaurant has is word of mouth, the staff has the opportunity to influence the kind of words that will come out of the mouth of...
