Beaver House — Restaurant in Lorain

First time visit...The server was great, friendly and knowledgeable. The place felt dirty, gray tables and crumbs all over the floor. The flies (inside) were awful as well as the door to the patio that slammed crazy loud The like 1000 times the servers went in and out. The food was "meh", no flavor whitefish and a Ceasars salad made of iceberg and parm. Cost was too much for what felt icky. Not rushing back, but will try again as we like to...

Staying in Lorain & decided to try this place for lunch & drinks. My son & I sat outside since it was so nice out. A waitress was tending to one other table next to us but never acknowledged our presence. We sat there for about 25 minutes & never once did she ask us for a drink or food order. Visited this evening. They were out of several menu options. So I went with the walleye dinner. It came out burnt to a crisp. I asked the waitress if I missed that it was blackened she said yes. It is not that way on the menu. It was only $16.00 but would have been nice if they offered to make it right! Nothing was offered as a solution and was charged full price for something I wouldn't...
