Cozy Corner is always great...except for this last time. We both ordered ribeye sandwiches without bell peppers. The sandwiches came heavily loaded with peppers. The ribeye sandwiches were disgusting. They were gray in color like they had been microwaved. On each sandwich there was a HUGE glob of white fat that should have been trimmed. Those Ribeyes should have been grilled or pan fried or something other than the way they were cooked. The paper thin ribeye was served on a wimpy roll that was too small for the sandwich. The roll wasn't strong enough for steak and the damn thing disintegrated on my first bite because the meat was very wet. I didn't have the heart to tell the server that the food was NASTY. The server was WONDERFUL. I want to be very clear. The servers are great, every time. We will continue to visit Cozy Corner but we will never order the ribeye sandwich again. They seriously need to improve on that one. It...
Read moreLocal dive that seemed to cater to locals mainly. When we walked in their were 3 tables with people, 2 clearly locals by their familiarity with the staff and not sure about the 3rd. We sat for 5 min. before anyone stopped at our table to give us menus and ask about drinks. After 10 min. of her seemed primary duty of taking inventory of cooler items my wife went to the bar and gave another waitress our order of a simple hamburger and and fries which took 20 min. to make it to the table and a little on the cold side for both. And to continue the speedy accommodations, after sitting 5 min. after we were clearly done, we had to go ask for the bill. The only reason we put up with this type of ?service? was not a lot of places out here and needed food. Then on the way out we noticed that the place had a "For Sale" sign under the tree. Wish I had seen that first, I'd have ate at the local gas station. Stay away let the place...

Never gotten anything bad there. From the prime rib to appetizers all delicious. And the lady behind the bar was so sweet and we talked about where we live now and she made suggestions for us to visit some other places and gave us some good info...we had the fried pickles and the sampler, which had a bunch of cheese curds which to me was like a bunch of baby Mozzarella chunks, yum....it had fried whole mushrooms, 2 long chicken strips, 2 potato skins.. and it was a lot of food.. and if you go during lunch (11to 3)the price has dropped from$15 to $11 for the weekday special. We took some home and I ate it late that night. Any way if you haven't been here and had an adult beverage,or the food, you need to. And they have live music on...
