What a pleasant surprise Casa de Pizza was. I grew up just a couple of miles away and didn't know this restaurant was here. Using the magic of technology (a smart phone and yelp) I discovered the restaurant and decided to give it a try. I came here with my father, nephew, and my nephews girlfriend, we arrived for lunch just as they opened.
The outside is so deceiving as to what awaits you on the inside. Much larger than you would think with seating for 50+ divided between two dining areas. Tables and booths with black and white checkered tablecloths and Frank Sinatra memorabilia covering the walls.
We were seated at a round table and were given menus. Our drink orders were taken and by the time that our drinks arrived we were ready to order. We decided on a large thick crust pizza topped with Pepperoni, Onions, and Garlic. We were asked if we would like some bread, we did and it was brought right out.

As we sat there noshing on on the warm bread, talking, and looking at the Sinatra memorabilia we wondered how we had managed to miss eating here before.
The pizza arrived,it looked and smelled great. I grabbed the first slice and passed the spatula to my dad and around the table it went till we all had a slice on our plates. The crust was perfectly cooked, golden brown and tender on the inside. I could taste each individual topping. I had three slices myself and by the time we were finished there were two pieces left.
We were all very pleased with the restaurant, the level of service, and most of all the quality of the food.

Read moreI've visited this place before the the changes and it was such an intimate dinner affair. The food was always great especially the pizza. Since the pandemic and them closing their doors, it has been awhile since the wife and I have eaten there. Anywhooos... Finally gotten a chance to go with some friends for the wife's belated birthday dinner and some things have changed. The menu has changed a little, as well the dining atmosphere. Let's just say before you would have Sinatra playing subtly in the background while you ate your dinner and folks around you would be having quiet conversations in an intimately lit dining room. An Italian restaurant. Now, we sat in the dining area and noticed instantly that the atmosphere was quite different. When we sat down at our table I noticed they had some more modern music playing while entertaining a girls softball team in the back dining area. It was to say the least a audacious. Nothing I enjoy better than bumping party music and parent's and kids yelling at each other in jovial celebration while eating my wonderful food. My wife and and our friends had to resort to yelling at each other just to have a conversation. Kinda reminds me of going to a Chucky Cheese or like any party pizza joint. Certainly not an Italian restaurant vibe anymore. Mind you, our food was fantastic and the service was on spot, but if your looking for a more intimate affair for date night or getting together with friends for polite conversation you might wanna consider a different restaurant. The pizza is still one of my favorites and I will always be a fan of the wings. Next time I go there I will just bring the guys and knock back some beers and pizza. Maybe they will get some big screen TVs for the games and just go full "Pizza Joint."...
Read moreWe chose this restaurant based on the reviews saying it was family friendly and casual. I have 4 children ranging 14-7 months. It’s hard to find places that are not scared to see us coming. One of the owners welcomed us with open arms. It was my son’s birthday and he made the experience amazing. Our kids were hungry from activities and we ordered the pizza right as he was sitting us. It came out quick and was amazing. Some members of the family were fighting over the last slice! The large Cesar was enough for everyone to enjoy. The wings were cooked and seasoned so well. The owner was so thoughtful he gave us some mozzarella sticks and cannoli’s to celebrate. I CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT THE CRUST ON THE STICKS! It was not your average mozzarella stick. Did not taste processed, AT ALL! The crust to cheese ratio was amazing and quality tasting cheese made it hit. The cannoli’s were off the charts. I have been telling everyone to go. We will for sure be back. It’s a great halfway point for our Los Angeles family as we are from Ventura County. Thank you for the memorable experience. It really made our weekend! the cost of the bill is what is also going to bring us back. We fed our family of 6 for a very reasonable price....
