La Michoacana Retro — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This ice cream shop is such a cute little gem in the Granada Hills community! It’s a small, cozy place with a wide variety of flavors that always taste fresh and delicious. The guy who helped my boys was incredibly sweet and patient—he didn’t mind at all when they wanted to sample three different flavors before making their choice. That kind of service really makes a difference, especially with kids! The only small downside is that when it gets busy, things can get a little hectic. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out who to help next and keeping track of orders. I also wish the staff in general seemed a little happier—just a warm smile or a friendly greeting when customers walk in would go a long way in making the experience even better.
