Catalina Bistro and Express Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Service staff is very good and friendly, food is adequate and extremely overpriced. Kitchen staff is the B team on a good day. Food normally came out under or over cooked (literally side of raw veggies with the dinner plates for $10) and sometimes cold. Each of the 3 times we went over the weekend food took +- 1hr. Meanwhile we saw some tables take longer and others who showed up later than us get food sooner. In dire need of new management and chef who actually gives a damn, especial for $20-$30+...

The food is basic and not all that fresh. My buddy had to pick through his salad bc some of the lettuce was browning; which got me thinking if the cook just took it out of a bag (did they even wash it?) and served it as is, and they forgot my coleslaw (probably lucky)... San Pedro has so many more eaters and great places to eat. If you're in a hurry cruise...
