I used to come here all the time years ago and the food was delicious . I was so excited to order from this place again but I’m not sure what happened tonight.. everything was so overcooked and dried out . My fiance even ordered it when he was there and not for pick up and it’s only a 5 minute drive home . The food didn’t taste fresh at all . We ordered the orange chicken with brown rice ( correction fried rice *!! ), sweet and sour pork , the cashew chicken, and chicken egg rolls. Even the wonton soup was so watered down . The total was around $70 which really sucks because I wouldn’t mind the price for some delicious food but now all i want to do is order a pizza. Not sure if it’s because we ordered it later at night around 8 pm and maybe they just gave us leftover food . Idk but hope the restaurant can fix the quality of food for people who are ordering in the evenings too . Won’t be trying this place again anytime soon .
Edit because I don’t know how else to respond to the comment below other than editing this review -
I meant fried rice not brown rice my apologies and you are located on glenoaks and Osborne in the same shopping center as the tattoo shop and guidos pizza . I understand you make the food when ordered so guess it was just overcooked and overly dry from the moment it was made but it literally tasted like food that sits out at a buffet for hours that when you come late and eat what’s been sitting there . So I understand that’s not the setup of how food is made there but that is the only way I can describe it. And this is feedback coming from 2 other people who ate the food not just myself . Hoping this review can come across as feedback for future...
Read moreLet me tell you why 2 stars. Food is GREAT, fresh, crunchy and tender. Place is small with nothing great, simple I did not see a restroom Decent time to cook your order…. NO courtesy water, they sell you the bottle water…. For a price place I think I never seen a place where they don’t offer you water specially a Asian restaurant where is a MUST
Why then 2 stars? It bothers me the SERVICE fee, a food for 4, charged me a $20 service fee… my family meal was $110 plus tax and their service fee becomes $151….
I was like wowwww…. They charged me to come and eat? Usually a 5 star restaurant charge you a service fee but this place is faaaaaaaar from being a 2 stars (food is great) so… a service fee is stupid… you are literally paying their asking prices which are NOT cheap, a chow mein is $13, swapping anything from chicken will be $2 more, expect $15-$20 per plate…
Once again, the food is WORTH IT, the service fee...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. I wanted to try a few different dishes before writing a review but after trying SEVERAL different dishes and loving each one I can definitely say this is one of my favorite local spots.
Price is fair and portions are great. Tom yum soup is my absolute favorite but the chow mein noodles is amazing too. For an appetizer I love the pork jerky but basically I've really enjoyed everything on the menu so far.
They are also very friendly here which is great and rare to see these days. I don't like to spend my money where I am not appreciated and I certainly feel appreciated and welcomed everything I come...
