If you are ever in the area, definitely do not sleep on this place. We stopped in after a tour of the Watts towers ( this place is close to the towers). The food here is authentic and very delicious. I had the costillas de puerco en salsa morita, it comes with rice and beans oh and freshly made corn tortillas and it did not disappoint. The agua de Jamaica was really good. We also had tacos, which really. This place is 10/10. I highly recommend you stop in and try it out.

Nice cool day I had to search for a nice warm soup. This place had something better pozole, I ordered the red pozole and tacos and I can tell you it’s hands up. Best pozole ever!!!! Like my grandma made. Will return.

All I can say about this place is OH MY GOD! We ordered 2 mulitas and pozoli soup. We were very pleased with the food, service, and prices. The mulitas are huge and the soup is best tasting that my girlfriend ever had. Last not least, the staff are very friendly, professional, and helpful. We were even given an order of mole' to enjoy as we waited for our order, which took about 10-15 minutes. The only problem is that it's located on a semi-busy medium traffic residential street so you may have to partially block their driveway for a bit. Other than that, enjoy the service and food. The fact that we felt transported in time with the vibe alone is 5 stars. I got treated to a perfect chilaquiles en mole covered with sunny side up eggs. Side of refried beans and white rice sprinkled with cotija cheese. One word. Phenomenal. Add a chia lemonade, and I'd say I had the perfect breakfast. What a gem! Everything was prepared when we ordered. We had pastor street tacos, birria quesadilla (fried), chile relleno (came with rice, beans and fresh made corn tortillas), and birria huaraches.
