El Segundo Beach Cafe — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Really great! Had the best breakfast burrito. Very tasty. And the fruit salad that it came with by itself would have been worth the price of the burrito. Blueberries, cantaloupe, pineapple etc. Also an elevated view of the ocean from their deck. It is very rare to find food places right along the beach like this. Stumbled across this cafe while I was riding my bike. No other restaurants along the beach for miles either way. It is between Marina del Ray and Manhattan Beach. There is some jet airplane noise as they take off a little ways away. But not too bad. Overall a very nice place to have...

Long layover at LAX but want to go outside away from the crowds and airplanes for an hour or so? Get an Uber and go here! (after Covid of course). You could also take the Beach Cities Express shuttle to Manhattan Beach, but almost none of their restaurants are RIGHT ON the beach like this one. Before going here, make sure your cellphone works because you'll want to catch an Uber/Lyft back to LAX because bus service is not good. If you have more time, walk to downtown El Segundo it's cute and easier to take a taxi or bus from there...

I didn't get to try out the cafe it was closed I was just up early picked up some scooters and thought I take a few seconds to enjoy the worlds beautiful views. Where the cafe is there's a nice spot to overlooked the beach and this spot even had a handicap access for wheelchairs to get pretty close up the water' as you can see the blue rubber like track going from the end of the concrete ramp to get down to the beach level.parking you pay by hour I believe sometimes it's free but double...
