If you're in the mood for incredible food, a beautiful view, and the perfect relaxed harbor vibe, Marina Cafe is the place to be. Hands down, they serve the best chowder I've ever had—rich, flavorful, and so indulgent I could’ve sworn there was a hint of vanilla bean. It was like a bowl of pure gourmet heaven! The owners are more than just cafe operators—they're true chefs. I had the turkey sandwich with pesto on Panini bread, and it tasted like Thanksgiving dinner in every bite. So satisfying!

As I sat out on the patio, the scenery was stunning—yachts everywhere, and even three ladies in captain's hats prepping for a sailing party. (Side note: three captains on a ship is definitely two too many!) The whole place gives off that upscale yet laid-back vibe, and it's pet-friendly to boot. I spotted three beautiful dogs at different tables, which made the atmosphere even more charming.

The service was spot on. Our waitress was super attentive, making sure my raspberry and unsweetened tea mix was perfectly balanced, and she brought me a refill before I even finished my first drink. Talk about service! The locals at the next table made some great menu recommendations for future visits, and everyone was so neighborly—it made me feel right at home. And a little jealous that they eat here daily.

Now, let me rave about the chicken salad. Oh. My. God. It had so much chicken I thought I was eating chicken strips on a bed of lettuce, LOL! But seriously, the veggies, avocado, and tomatoes all perfectly complemented the heap of chicken. Every bite was amazing.

This cafe is five star dining with a casual yacht-life vibe, amazing food, and top-notch service. Honestly, after this visit, I almost wanted to buy a yacht just so I could eat here every day....

What an absolutely lovely hidden gem! You would never know it was there but worth the adventure to get there. It is run by a lovely lady named Sherri (sp?) and she has surrounded the establishment with staff that care about their customers and think about food outside the box in a delicious and unexpected way. Ask about the soup specials on the weekends, get it no matter what and you will understand why. We have always enjoyed their food - chicken green pozole, chicken fried steak, the hot mess (this good - trust me - get anything with gravy - even the Southerners rave about the gravy), huevos rancheros, menudo, belgian waffle, etc. We make it a point to have breakfast there at least every fortnight. We enjoy the food, the staff and being right next...

Indeed this place is a surprising hole in the wall you wouldnt expect to find in the area . Neither is the very quaint marina community I've recently discovered . From the parking lot you cannot see the restaurant but tucked away there is very relaxed outdoor seating with beautiful views . You get this very good downhome feeling there as if your a part of a beachy seen in a movie . The staff was so nice and down to earth . I had the hot mess which if you are what you eat is a perfect fit . it was 11 dollars which is maybe a little bit more than I would expect to pay but your paying for the location too . life is all about the experience right ? Give it a try . Its a great place to take pictures for...

I was visiting Long Beach while my partner was working and I decided to come here before my drive back home. I always like to go to places with my name and the reviews had me convinced. I ordered the fish and chips and they did not disappoint!!! It was so freaking good. I think the only thing that was a bother for me was the drive into the location is pretty industrial and heavy with oil drilling. I'm not a big fan of that as an environmentalist but that's not the restaurants fault of course. Just an observation I had. Regardless, if you're in the area you need to eat at this place!!!
