Mechta Deli — Restaurant in Los Angeles

A very nice little convenience store in the neighborhood focusing mainly on Eastern European items. As far as I saw they have mostly Russian, Armenian items. I also saw Middle Eastern items in the fridge such as cheeses/dairy items. They have home made Russian stuff such as preserves and pickles as well. Their deli section also serves to Eastern European appetite with a variety of pastries on the side. Their groceries include Persian cucumbers and Dashti (Garden) Tomatoes whicb only limited nunber of international markets have. Worth paying a visit to see here...

Terrible attitude towards customers. My aunt came and bought a marshmallow, it was all mush. She got upset and threw it away. She called the store, they asked her to bring it. But she had already thrown it away. She said that she would not come to their store anymore. They told her well, don't come. She is upset, her blood pressure rose. My aunt is already 85 years old. Please spend your money where people actually want you to shop. Blond lady at the deli counter rolling your eyes at you, because you did not hear what she said, and she had to repeat herself. Its a basic customer service skill. Very unprofessional. Then cashier person got very inpatient when you paid with change. Common people, this is not ok. I would rather go spend my money elsewhere, where people...
