I've been coming to this place for years. I enjoy coming here to eat and shop. And every time I can here (it is out of my way), I do always get the guacamole EVERY single time I come here. But in my recent visits not only has the price increased more than doubled. But I also noticed that the "guacamole" is no longer actually guacamole, its more of a tomatoes and onion salsa than it is guacamole and for $17.99 for a 32 ounce container, I EXCEPT TO GET GUACAMOLE!!! They offered to replace it when I called to advance them of this, was told to come back and it will get replaced. I said, I don't live next door so me coming back today would mean an hour drive there and back. I love Lake Balboa and I'm always in the neighborhood due to my real estate clients. I found myself searching for chilaquiles for breakfast on a Sunday morning before my open house, and that's how I found this gem. Yes it's great, and yes it's authentic Mexican food at a great price, you'll realize both once you step in and find the local Hispanic crowd enjoying their favorite dishes. THIS IS NOT TO BE MISSED! Hands down this place has become my routine go to place for great tasting tacos, burritos, fried fish fillet and sopa 7 mares or seafood soup. They have a robust menu of other Mexican food favorites so there is most definitely something for every palate. In my experience I can only speak for the foods I mentioned but I am sure the other options are worth a try at the very least, and if the aforementioned are what you are searching for and don’t wish to wait a lifetime of a waiting period nor break the bank then look no further, stop by and give them a try, I did and have never looked back... definitely worth your money and taste buds.. happy...
