Tasty food, friendly service, in-house ample parking; they get one star for each of these items. On the downside is the significantly high prices and the over-all ambient of the restaurant it-self. I visited this place on a Tuesday at around 1:00. It was fairly empty and with plenty of seats available. As my family and I walked in we were a bit confused as there was no one to check in with. We were told by one of the waitresses that we could seat any were we liked. It was over 90 degrees outside so I thought about seating inside where there is AC. To my surprise the indoor section was closed and we had no other option but to seat under the red shack. It felt pretty miserably hot but no wasn't gonna let that courage me from trying their Paella. The waitress was very friendly and took our orders in a timely fashion. When my Paella arrived it looked and tasted lovely. Perfectly cooked shrimp and octopus. It was tasty and had a perfect consistency. My wife ordered a small shrimp cocktail and the shrimp enchiladas. Two orders of 3 fish tacos for each of our kids. I must say the fish tacos were pretty bland and with not a whole lot of flavor; just nothing out of the ordinary. They also don't have a drink fountain; only can or bottled soda; I had four of them. I believe the same goes with beer and I did read a sign about "limit of 3 beers per person"; just FYI for those who do like beer. The check was just shy of $75 not including the tip. I enjoyed the food and don't complaint about pricing when it comes to a good meal but I still feel this is a bit overboard specially when there so many Marisco places in LA that serve food that's just as good and relatively cheaper. I lnke there is live music even though there was none during my visit but that wouldn't add or take away anything for me to do this review. I probably wouldn't cone back here. If I ever crave Mariscos I much rather go to 4 Vientos in east LA that's...
Read moreI recently visited Mariscos Mi Lindo Nayarit, expecting an authentic and satisfying Mexican seafood experience, but I left feeling ripped off and disappointed. Here’s why:
We ordered two large cocktails. The “Vaso Loco” was a showstopper—generous, flavorful, and everything a large cocktail should be. However, the shrimp and octopus cocktail was a letdown. It barely had any shrimp or octopus, and for the price, it felt like I was paying for a fancy glass of tomato juice with false promises. I had to order empanadas just to fill the gap.
The food quality itself was great—fresh and flavorful—but portions matter, and skimping on ingredients isn’t acceptable when you’re charging premium prices.
The atmosphere was loud and lively, with a vibe straight out of a Mexican narco movie—great if you’re looking to party and drink all night, but definitely not a place for conversation. Some of the customers seemed to be having a blast getting wasted, and while that’s fun for some, it’s not the vibe I was after.
Pros: Good food, great service, and a fun party atmosphere if that’s your thing. Cons: Tiny portions for big prices and way too noisy for a relaxed dining experience.
Unless they stop shorting portions in their cocktails, I won’t be back. For the price, I expect to leave satisfied—not hungry and annoyed.

Read moreMy friend recommended me this place so I came In for Mother’s Day. Very disappointed in this place hard to find parking and when I did find parking my car got scratched up by employees taking out the trash. We had to wait for few hours to get seated. When a table became available and we were seated already a employee came to remove us and told us this table is reserved and moved us from there. We observed the table and it was never reserved by customers the employee kids where seated there while she was working. When we started ordering food the food came at different times and not good quality food my husband ordered camarones ala diabla which are suppose to be spicy and they only put ketchup and mixed the shrimp into the ketchup we returned the plate and on the receipt they were still charging me that plate …I myself ordered a michelada and a campechana no beer flavor to the michelada seems like it was only Clamato because they didn’t even bring the beer i ordered and the campechana had to flavor I do not recommend this place at all and definitely won’t be back… on top of that I got charged 3.9 % for paying...
