Mission Burrito — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This place is terrible! My daughter was craving a carne asada burrito. She really likes the pop-up stand down the street in front of Pavillions. Stopped by and no luck today. Bummer. We have driven by Mission Burrito hundreds of times but never tried them out…until today.

My daughter ordered a carne asada burrito and I ordered a breakfast burrito with carne asada as my choice of meat. (Bacon wasn’t an option, which was weird since it was a breakfast burrito.)

We waited 15-20 mins and filled our cups with some Horchata and Orange Bang. All good so far. The lady brought out our to-go order and we made the short drive home to eat.

The first thing my daughter said was “this thing is hard to hold” and I looked at it sagging, barely looking like a burrito. I opened mine and it looked the same. I took a bite…all refried beans. Hers too. We cut into it a bit further, there were a few tiny pieces of carne asada, drowning in refried beans. Gross. Same with my breakfast burrito. I don’t even think there was one full egg inside. A few piece of carne asada and a whole tub of refried beans.

We both threw out the rest. Absolutely disgusting. If the name of your restaurant has “burrito” in it, you better crush the burrito game. I mean, really, how hard is it to make a decent burrito? This has to be the worst that I have ever had in my life. Avoid...

I love love love Mission Burrito's Crunchy Chicken Taco Combo Plate and thej hot salsa (house), the mild is just okay. Unfortunately, the salsa was subpar at the Rosco location; it wasn't hot or mild; It was kinda tasteless. Not sure how that is possible....lol. Another issue; I ordered a large salsa and thought it came with chips; but at this location it doesn't!! If I ordered salsa at a restauran it usually usually comes with chips. Nope, not at the Roscoe location. I had to pay $2.70 for the chips please three something for the salsa. I told the employee that at the other location they give you free chips with the salsa. He said "I know, but we don't do that here. I'll give you an extra salsa for free. Well now Im super excited! My fav hot salsa for FREE, YES AND THANK YOU. Unfortunately, it was disappointing when I got home. 1: The salsa was watery and tasteless, not even close to mild. 2: The guy made me think I was getting an extra large salsa for my inconvenience, but that wasn't the case. He just gave me 2, 8 oz cups to equal the large that I purchased. SMH. I went to this location because it was on my way home, but the food isn't as good as the...

Horrible customer service. Horrible food package quality. Ordered multiple items, but unfortunately, most of the food is smashed due to the aluminum tin trays they are packed in and stacked on top of each other. It is like someone sat on my order with food spilling out in the bags all in my brand new car. Burrito that was ordered as well was completely incorrect. Had to drive all the way back to get my food remade, but another one of my orders was missing. Manager did not want to give a full refund. Had to come back a 3rd time and was eventually given a full refund after having a lengthy conversation with the manager. That refund as well as the correct order should have been given the first time around. I am a repeat customer here and I am very disappointed in this experience that ruined my dinner with my family. Not only having to leave my family at home to go back n forth 3x, but also wasting gas in this whole ordeal. Will not be returning here. This was the last straw. Go to Sharkys...
