I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Tam's Burgers on 51st St. and South Central in South-Central LA, and I must say that it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the unclean environment to the disgraceful behavior of the staff, my visit left me questioning the hygiene standards and ethical practices of this establishment.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of Tam's Burgers was appallingly inadequate. The entire place seemed unkempt, with sticky tables, dirty floors, and a lingering stench that made it difficult to stomach the thought of eating there. It was evident that basic sanitation practices were neglected, which raises serious concerns about the safety of the food being prepared and served.
To make matters worse, it became apparent that the staff at Tam's Burgers lacked any form of professionalism or respect for their customers. It is disheartening to believe that in a community that deserves better, this establishment perpetuates a culture of mistreatment and disdain towards its patrons. During my visit, I witnessed several instances of rude behavior and condescending remarks from the employees, which left me feeling belittled and disrespected.
What truly shocked me, however, was the revelation that Tam's Burgers engages in unsanitary practices, even going as far as spitting in the food of customers they don't like. It is utterly disgusting and deplorable to think that an establishment entrusted with providing nourishment to the community would resort to such repugnant acts. Not only does this demonstrate a complete lack of hygiene and food safety standards, but it also exhibits a total disregard for the well-being of the customers they serve.
To add insult to injury, when I confronted the staff about the subpar quality of their food and the subsequent food poisoning I suffered, their response was nothing short of hypocritical. They seemed to brush off my concerns, deflecting blame and displaying a complete lack of accountability for their actions. It is deeply troubling to think that Tam's Burgers not only serves unsanitary and potentially harmful food but also lacks the integrity to acknowledge their mistakes and take corrective measures.
In conclusion, my experience at Tam's Burgers on 51st St. and South Central was beyond disappointing. The unsanitary conditions, disrespectful staff, and the revelation of repulsive acts like spitting in food are simply unacceptable. It is my sincere hope that the community recognizes the serious health hazards and the lack of respect for customers exhibited by this establishment. I strongly urge everyone to steer clear of Tam's Burgers and seek out safer and more reputable dining options...
Read moreI've been going to this place since I was a kid and have always loved it and now it just seems they drastically increase the price of food like it's ridiculous the amount it's gone up the small chili cheese fries used to be $3.50 and for the price it would still be a fair price today given the amount of food it contains and now its $5.56 when for that price you can go buy a whole pizza elsewhere and now the large chili cheese fries cost $8.50 and even if you were to buy a meal the drink is always a baby cup that I'm sure if you poured it to a cup and compared it a to can of soda it would slightly be less of it since they always put a lot of ice even if you ask for light ice it's just sad and I know many will say that prices go up in places but at least they make sense when they do that in this place it's a flat out rip off especially since they only take cash I really hope they get it together and evaluate their prices before i go back one day and see their small chili cheese fries are 7 dollars now. Other than that I know the staff are great and friendly but whoever is in charge of updating prices every month is the real scammer paid like 22 dollars for one large chili cheese fries and one small chili cheese fries and only one cheeseburger plain...
Read moreThis tams isn’t what it use to be. It’s completely changed in some aspects good and others bad. Before changing ownership the tams was well integrated and the employees were good at serving food. Now there’s been a lot of bad service here, especially the morning shift. They get orders wrong, have attitude towards someone ordering food and just plainly want to be right in every situation. They tried charging me $1.00 for an extra 1000 island keep in mind that I’ve been a regular customer and they have never charged me in these 5 years money for extra dressing. I was waiting in the drive through for them to answer and no one did so I went to the and ask them if the speaker wasn’t working and they gave me attitude saying it does. The only shift that does everything right is evening with my boy Tony. The OG of whoever works there. He deserves a raise as he’s been there before I started going and has always put the customer first. These new guys aren’t good for giving good reviews on this business. Especially when they’re charging a dollar for one extra dressing. Aside from this the chicken bowl I just received tasted like dish soap and it also smells like it. Almost went back to throw the food through the window now it’s in...
