Tacos Los Carnales — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Been coming here since Covid when they hack were a food truck. Customer service has became poor. I go in every time in order the same thing from the same Female cashier and I tip all the time. But today I decided to go for a late night snack and always get shrimp fries. Somehow, she messed up my order side of fries as many times I’ve ordered from her. She knows my order. When I corrected them and notify them that the order was wrong and I don’t partake in meat, they caught an attitude remade my food again and I had to explain some. I don’t eat meat. It should have been with shrimp.. The order was sent back twice on behalf of making it. The cashier brought me back to the front rerun my order the right way the first time I told her how to do it on the receipt and sent it back to the kitchen.. The order was put right on their end. I noticed that the guy took about seven shrimp, threw it on a grill had not been for a minute, not even alone 40 seconds, took it off and threw it onto my food with an attitude. I explained to them that the food was not cooked properly. It will take about a minute and a half or more to cook shrimp properly . I explain to them I have health issues that if I eat raw fish and I was to get sick it was severely end up in the hospital since I do not have a gallbladder . Open open up business I’ve been supporting letting them know reasons why my food has to be properly made and cooked. That is very sad. After discussing amongst each other in Spanish about it, I told them to simply give me a refund and then I will never return back to the establishment. The food is good but my only complaint is that cashier female she caught an attitude & tried to go back & forth with me over food I paid for. I told her I wanted everything on my fries but only the nacho cheese on the side, I get my fries & drive home & that’s when I noticed the mistake. they’re dry just the meat & fries. I drove back to the restaurant to let her know what wasn’t in my fries & that I’d like a whole new fresh plate due to their inconvenience & that’s when she tried to argue with me. It sucks because their food is fire but with a poor customer service like that is a NO especially over something that wasn’t my fault. If you live in or work in the South L.A. area and in search of tasty food than look no further. Los Carnales has come a long way and believe me when I tell you their fresh charbroiled beef and chicken has changed the game. I’ve tried pretty much everything on their menu but my personal favorite are the Huevos Rancheros for breakfast, Asada Fries (these are a MUST!), Burritos, Mulitas and Tacos (freshly made corn tortillas). Although it can get pretty hectic during lunch time and weekends, they are very quick. Parking is tough but don’t be discouraged, there is a lot of street parking. Aside from great food, the staff is friendly and attentive, dining area is always clean and you can always call and place your order over the phone, how convenient is that?
