We went to Zeidler's at the Skirball after a fun visit to the "I'll Have What She's Having" Jewish deli exhibit. We wondered, considering the unique nature of the exhibit, if they'd use the chance to offer some classic deli dishes in conjunction with it. Sure enough they did. There was a whole separate menu of deli offerings including some delicious vegetarian options. I really loved the Mrs. Goldfarb's vegan Corned Beef sandwich. I also got on order of the Potato, Kale and Carmelized Onion Knish...The sandwich filled me up so I took these home and they were, for sure, among the best knishes I had (not to mention vegetarian) Also for us vegetarians (though we didn't have them this time) are Matzo Ball Soup and cheese blintzes. (Not mention their entire regular menu is also available which has tons of vegan and vegetarian items as well as gluten free options (including an Impossible burger which my son had, and a vegan broccoli soup which my wife had and which was super flavorful. To be a Jew is to eat. Like our ancestors before us ate. Zeidler's is the perfect place to get elevated deli food (while the exhibit is still happening) after or during a visit to the Skirball. (and maybe even as a destination on its own.)

Stopping in before seeing the Blacklist exhibit was brilliant! Light and airy, Zeidler's is built on a curve so sounds aren't bounced back and the noise level is minimal. Wonderful and attentive service and yummy food rounded out our visit. Two thumbs up!

Excellent service. The staff is superb and polite The menu is limited but it has quality options. A lot of vegetarian items. Highly recommended. Kids can get a PJ sandwich or 🍕 pizza

What a pleasant surprise to find a museum restaurant that’s reasonably priced and unpretentious, and has really delicious food! (I’m glaring at you, Fanny’s, with your mediocre yet precious offerings, high prices and obsequious yet snooty waitstaff) I have always thought that museum cafes should be accessible to all, not just wealthy patrons. My friend and I split a generous quinoa/farro/arugula/apple/pomegranite salad with sesame dressing, and a roasted vegetable gratin, basically a block of stacked sliced squashes and other veggies enrobed in melted cheese, similar in feel to lasagna. Both items were fantastic and portion sizes were good. The staff was attentive and on top of the drink refills. We ate outside under sunny yellow umbrellas; the inside dining area was minimalist, clean, very white and a bit sterile but not unpleasant. I’m not sure about this, but it seemed to be a Kosher restaurant; they served some fish dishes but I don’t recall any other animals on the menu. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. A woman nearby got some sweet potato fries, which looked large, crunchy and impressive. I’ll get them next time. I had a great experience there and hope to go again. I wish they were open later. Was very surprised how much I liked it. Price came to a little over...

Somewhat bland space even with its renovation, but pleasant wait staff and interesting menu. Fried dill pickles! Enjoyed the spinach and cheese bourka, one large one with everything bagel sprinkled on top with a tomato and a touch of greens to decorate the plate, and shared the vegetable gratin with mozzarella and tomato sauce and squash (amazingly not mushy) and eggplant....
