Like one of my usual weekend I come to have a good dinner at Dennys in Los Banos. Two young ladies were very busy typical of a Sunday. There was also a gentleman helping them clean tables, that gentleman was up and down as soon as every Table left he was trying to clean them. When I saw him, I thought that’s very nice of him trying to help the young ladies because they were busy. What came to my surprise, one of the young ladies asked the other one if she had seen her money from a table. The other one answered no I just cashed them out, but I did not clean your table. So the other one answered oh well let me go look for my money because I just seen I had money there.. what a big surprise the young gentleman that was helping them clean the tables had put the money wrapped up in a napkin and in his apron because he was wearing one. What a shame. The young ladies were working very hard and this gentleman just grabbed money that didn’t belong to him. This is a shame because now I am not confident to leave money for my server seeing this.. I don’t understand why people are so disrespectful and dishonest. The young lady was doing such a good job trying to keep up with everyone giving a very good service.. at the end I did hear the young lady said that she had to ask the gentleman for her money, once again, this is very sad. We need to have respect, manners and most important be honest, I hope the store manager does something about this because it’s going to be a little hard if we can’t even cash tip knowing this will happen and with people like this. Read moreZero stars respectfully. We arrived, they were slightly busy, about 7-10 families were in the restaurant. They said it would be a small wait. No big deal. We waited for about 25 mins. They finally sat us at a table, we ordered, got our drinks, and waited. After an hour, I politely asked, (now there were less people because some people had finished and a few got upset and left, one woman had waited two hours for her food and when it came out, it wasn’t even cooked all the way. Ew.) how long it would be. The waitress refused to answer my question and instead kept saying how busy they were. After I asked for the 3rd time, she said about 15 mins. No problem, we had already waited this long, right? Fast forward. 15 mins had gone by and she came back and said it would be at least 25 mins if not longer. There were people who had gotten there before us, who were still waiting over two hours for a to-go order, and they had less of an order than we did, so obviously we were going to be waiting for a while. I respectfully told the waitress we would now be leaving. She had the audacity to ask if she could get me a check for the drinks. Read moreFood was what you expect. Our server was great. However, Carlos the younger kid with the glasses was TRASH. He had attitude the enire time and was awful to my bf and I. He told me he didn't know how the tap worked on the register. Not that it didn't work at all. So I used 2 different cards because it was saying "wrong pin". Carlos proceeded to tell me "I'm pulling my card out to fast". Which I didn't because I didn't even put my card in at all. I used the tap feature. Then my bf used his card and it did the same thing. Carlos proceeded to tell him and I that "We're pulling our card out too fast and the machine is working." Again we never inserted our cards in. Then one of the gals tried to help us out except Carlos asked us to put in the pin but was watching my bf and so my bf told him I will but I'm not going to do that while your watching. Carlos then told my bf "like what I'm going to steal your card?" Carlos needs to be fired. If he hates his job so much he should just quit. I have never been to a place with such a rude cashier. Turns out the tap feature on the card reader doesn't work at all just the chip reader. This is not how paying customers should be treated.
