I went in to pick my pizza up, which was thoughtfully prepared and tasted ever so delicious! My concern was when the credit card receipt was printed I asked how many people were in the kitchen and the answer was "5". I said great "I want to tip everyone $2", I entered $10 on the tip slip and at that point I was told that the credit card tips would not be disbursed to the employees working that shift. I asked who gets the tips and I was told the company gets them. So today I called and talked to Frank, the owner. Frank apologized and assured me that the man that spoke out against the tips was on a indeterminate suspension because he spoke the truth. He penalized this man, whom most likely needed the job and explained that the tip money goes back into the company, ie. for company drivers insurance, burnt food, food costs and so on. I have worked at many customer based restaurants, I have never heard of anyone being held accountable for cooking a steak over and beyond the customers preference. I have never heard of the tips being put back into the company. I imagine if Frank puts all this money into the business, his business may survive a few more years. If you Frank do not put that money into your employees pockets, they will hold that against you and not be happy; to further the point you suspended someone who spoke out honestly. Have you ever heard of the bible verse, John 8:32, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." I'm confused because I asked a simple question, and I was given a line of nonsense. I will not be back. At least Dominoes, Pizza Hut and Dions pay their employees well and the employees get all the deserved tips! Believe me, I did some checking into this. FRANK that...

The pizza: Goodfellas Special Pizza (Highly recommend) 8 massive slices, 2 pepperoni, 2 sausage, 2 pineapple & 2 chicken
Pros: Dough was fresh, cooked evenly, slightly crisp but not burnt. The toppings were high quality, evidenced by the orange grease coloring and taste, definitely an Italian thing going on here. The sauce had nice flavoring, wasn't overpoured and a nice combination of Italian spices. Cheese choice was correct, melts, is quality and isn't stretchy. PRICING. I saw people complaining about that, so I broke down what you get for what you pay for based on sq inches of the pizza. Here if you get their large 16-inch option, you pay $0.089/sq inch. At Domino's, their large 16-inch option, $0.104/sq inch and at Pizza Hut, their largest 14-inch option, $0.12/ sq inch. In summary, they're 25.83% cheaper than Pizza Hut and 14.42% cheaper than Domino's for a 2-topping pizza, so that puts the myth that they're more expensive to bed.
Cons: Disclaimer, this is just personal taste preference and is a subjective statement: The popcorn chicken didn't seem to fit well as the choice of chicken on the pizza.
The bone-in wings: $1.25/wing here, similar to Domino's ($1.13/wing) or Pizza Hut ($1.06/wing). In terms of the taste and texture, it's similar to these 2 restaurants. The slightly higher price that you pay is for the way it's cooked, it will be less soggy than if you were to get it from the 2 fast food chains. It will also be served hot, whereas, you're likely to get cold wet slimy mess wings from Domino's or Pizza Hut.
Overall, the quality of the pizza is miles ahead of fast-food chains and it's...

They have workers who don't take pride in their work or do their job correctly. And getting management to do anything about it is a 50/50 shot. Today I ordered one slice of pepperoni pizza. They told me it would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. 20 minutes later they handed me a slice of cheese pizza. I told them it was wrong. And then they said they would fix it. 10 more minutes later I got my pizza. With only an apology. No refunded money no discount nothing else. The manager I spoke with his name was Richard.
UPDATE 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The owner Frank, and superstar employee Nicole, are awesome. I have been ordering from them consistently for a few months now. I usually order during the day shift Monday through Friday. Great food and service.
I recently made the mistake of ordering in the evening, and the night crew suck. The cooks at least. The young lady who took my order was nice and professional. Let me be nicer, they need a little more work.
I will still order from Goodfellas, but only from day shift when the owner is around. Night shift, not so much.
Great job turning it...
