Burger Shack — Restaurant in Los Molinos

Good food. Better than fast food, but slower. The place is setup as a classic burger joint and seemed rather plain with little to no decorations. My co-worker liked his food as did I. I got the double burger with added cheese, pickles, and light onion. It was a hint towards burnt, but still very good (I like well done with the taste of the grill and I definitely got that). The toppings were nearly perfect. A little more cheese would have been nice since it was a double and the mustard must of slipped or something because my last bite had way too much. I really wanted to try the steak and bacon burger, but the cashier said it was big and I'm trying to limit my portion sizes in order to slim down. They had a good variety of other options besides burgers including several salads, fish and chips, shrimp, burritos, and corn dogs. I thought their burger options were small, but customization was available. Because of the hot day I had to have one my favorite shakes, Oreo cookie. It was good. They had a nice variety of shake options including coffee. Due to larger shake options than burgers so maybe they skulls reverse their name. Hungry for fast food. Slow down your going to pass the BEST BURGER EVER. look like hole in wall but open the door to find the nicest staff greeting you with smiles to take your order. A retro BURGER place that is fast,clean ,even has outdoor seating. Stop going to next town for big name burger place. The out side look is well retro but the food will make you stop in los molinos ca and enjoy shakes burgers frys and quiet time. The only thing missing is the pin ball machines and that dig ding. To keep kids quiet as the Best BURGER ever gets made the way you like it. I called ahead and it was coming off grill as I came in. 5 stars plus . This was the best meal ive had since I ate at Yak's on 5 years ago. My burger (double western onion cheesburger) was PERFECTLY cooked with the exact right amount of condiments and melted cheese. A very fresh bun led to a divine meal. I enjoyed the zucchini fries instead of regular fries and they were the best zucchini fries I've ever had perfectly seasoned n paired with jalapeño ranch.
