I recently visited the Subway location and I must say it was a visit I will not soon forget, and for all the wrong reasons. My wife and I decided to grab a quick lunch together, but little did we know that our visit would turn into an uncomfortable ordeal.
Upon entering the establishment, we were immediately bombarded by a deafening wall of sound. To our utter disbelief, the staff had decided to subject their unfortunate customers to a relentless onslaught of disturbing death metal music. Now, I have nothing against personal musical preferences, but subjecting unsuspecting diners to such aggressive and polarizing music is simply unacceptable!
As we struggled to communicate over the cacophony of growls and screeching guitars, the atmosphere became increasingly uncomfortable. It was clear that the staff's choice of music was not conducive to a pleasant dining experience. I expected a calm and inviting environment to enjoy a meal and engage in conversation with my wife, but instead, we found ourselves immersed in an unwelcome and inappropriate auditory assault.
I strongly advise against visiting this particular Subway location. The combination of the staff's choice of death metal music and the resulting uncomfortable atmosphere made for an overall negative experience. If you're looking for a peaceful and enjoyable meal, I suggest you look elsewhere.
It is my sincere hope that the management of this Subway location takes customer feedback seriously and reevaluates their approach to creating a welcoming environment. Until then, my wife and I will not be returning, and we encourage others to...
Read moreI wanted to edit a review I left a couple of months ago because I believe this location has worked hard to change things and taken in to consideration their local and valued customers. My husband and I order from this location 1-2 times a week. There has been a MAJOR staff change and everyone that we have encountered is beyond kind and this location has been immaculately clean. Good job for management looking out for local customers.
Old Review where I left a one star: I am honestly shocked at my experience tonight. My husband and I came for sandwiches about 6:45 ish today, the employees had 2 tables covered in personal items with clothing in trash bags, food, clothing and other items in scattered in the floor. It looked like we had walked into someone’s apartment. Employees were in the hallway with a non customer for several minutes while we waited. Upon making our sandwiches the male and female employee were having a private conversation and we continually had to repeat our order- the male employee put vinegar on my sandwich and said he would just scrape off vegetables so he didn’t have to remake it. I asked for him to remake it, employee rolled his eyes. Another customer came in and tried to sit down but almost all tables in lobby were covered in food/had food underneath, other customer then asked for a cloth to wipe tables while employees were standing there talking to each other. Another male non-customer came to see the female employee- employees then sat with non customer and lobby dirty. I hope management does see this and can correct for...
Read moreI do not like giving bad reviews, but I will not be returning to the Vonore, TN location. I had the misfortune of ordering 2 foot long cold cut combo sandwiches. Woe unto me for not being vigilant while the makings were being applied to the sandwiches for the sandwich artist placed three thin deli sliced pieces of bologna on each of the foot long subs (I am aware the subs of this variety usually warrant something to the tune of 9 slices? I think 3 each of 3 different types of sandwich meat). So perhaps place the blame on me for not being overly watchful. However, upon arriving home, my husband tucks in and discovers the omission and calls the store to speak to a supervisor. That's where things took a rude turn. The shift leader hears his grievance and immediately tells him "those sandwiches are pre-packaged and that's just how we make them" (because I suppose we have never had them made properly before). Fortunately, Subway's corporate customer service was far more helpful. Still, maybe skip this location and take the extra ten minutes to drive across town to the Madisonville store (inside Wal-Mart), we've never had a...
