#4 Mule's Hitch — Restaurant in Louisiana

I loved going here wasn't alot of people plus u can smoke inside. Have nice big bathrooms eople are always friendly and they even had food cooked. The only reason why I'm giving it such a low star is bc after buying the bartender shots of her choice 3 times and tipppjnh her very very well she over charged us by almost 8o and what they noy going to give that money back and I hate to say that bc we loved going there but. Wonde if she looses her job. Update went back on a Saturday night and it was a 5 dollar cover for band that started at 9 it was only 7:54. Well we get there and I couldn't remember what I ordered last time but seen the lady who fixed the drink and was asking her what she made and the other bartender got very rude bc I was trying to ask her what drink all bc I was looking at the lady I was asking a question to. Then she wanted to say she wasn't doing this tonight. But they kept testing speakers and it was so loud. We had one drink and one shot and left. So paid 10 dollars for a cover for a band that didn't even play. Nov. 14th we go back around 4 or 5 and when we go inside go and sit down and even though they wasn't busy at all the bartender worried about getting straws and seem like she didn't want to come over after about 10 minutes she finally came over and I didn't get anything to drink my boyfriend got a double Jim and coke which tasted like a single (he drinks daily so he knows how they taste) and got 1 shot of rump and asked for the tab and it was $16.00 for 2 things. We can go to stray cats and get his drinks which is a true double my med daiquiri and 1 shot each and only spend $20.00. I don't think I will...

The Mules Hitch is owned by myself and my husband Jayson Korndorffer. We are honored to have been nominated by The Daily Star as one of Tangipahoa’s best bars. On opening the link, however, we were shocked to read the review by a “Pamela Armand”. Our bartenders are the most honest on the planet, as are we!! What possible benefit would they have to add drinks to a person’s tab?! There are strict laws concerning credit cards, and we adhere to them strictly! As do all our staff!! If this customer had an issue with her tab she should have complained, and this is the first we have heard of it! It seems she has visited several times and in fact her Facebook profile picture is taken in front of our sign in 2017, which is interesting. I would also like to point out that we have huge credit card business, and the same customers use credit card tabs as their preferred method, over and over and over! Never with a problem! Our drinks are also extremely reasonable in price! Also, I would like to say that there is no way on these google reviews to respond. Which is frustrating. We will, however, respond to Ms Armand via Facebook, and address her concerns that way. AND ON THE PLUS SIDE, THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO WROTE ALL THE NICE REVIEWS!! We all work hard to make THE HITCH a great place to be, THANK YOU THANK YOU! We couldn’t do what we do without ALL OF YOU!...

In Hammond for work and this place was recommend. It was definitely worth the little 14 minute trip from the hotel. The atmosphere is phenomenal and the people are very welcoming to everyone. You definitely get the southern charm and welcoming atmosphere. If you love Karaoke this place has the best system I have sang on by far from Baton Rouge- New Orleans and everything south of I-10.
