America Donuts #3 — Restaurant in Louisiana

If you’re looking for a donut shop that’s more than just donuts, this is it. They’ve been taking care of me and my family for years. Every time I order, they throw in a free donut, small gesture, big heart.

But what really sealed it for me was six years ago: my son was too little to reach the toilet, and instead of shrugging it off, they literally went out and bought a potty seat for the bathroom. It’s still there today. That’s the kind of place this is.

Even right now, while I’m waiting in my car for my order, the owner walked out and handed me a free bag of donut holes, just to make the wait sweeter.

Great donuts, of course, the best in town. But the kindness, the thoughtfulness, the way they treat you like family? That’s what keeps me coming...
