Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Louisiana

The place needs a deep cleaning 🧹 on the inside. There is a small area for dine in...not clean...sticky. If you have to wait and you are standing in the left corner next to the light up sign boards...look at the monitor, cables, register....they need serious attention, dusty as ever..and not from the floating flour dust. Don't come for me. I was waiting long enough to notice, but enough 😜 time in which, I should / could have cancelled my order. I did have to wait on a Sunday for spicy chicken and fried 🍎 apple pies, and they were out of lemonade 🍋 revisions were made. Patiently I stood and it was worth the wait. This is a multi million dollar company...under the possibility of an independent franchisee. Get your public area cleanliness together.. shameful, just saying. Trust me, people waiting on the inside waiting for chicken to come up, start looking at a lot of things. Step it up, cause the spicy 🍗 chicken and the rice...

This location has good chicken, at least 80 percent of the time. Sometimes there is not enough staff to cover the uptick in customers that come during lunch hours and those crucial, last minute, WHAT WE GONNA EAT!? 9:30pm - 10:00pm time frame that could be the difference between life and death!

As one of 2 locations on the Westbank, I'd say this is the better of the two spots due to their jalapeno peppers being on point more often. The other location sometimes has soggy peppers, so they can keep that mess.

If they have a 2 piece for 1.99 or a 10 piece for 8.99, be prepared to wait at night because everyone and their momma will be up in there ordering. Combine that with a staff that might be overworked and underpaid, and you might be waiting a while for your chicken. Most of the staff is friendly, so its not too bad of a wait. They have a few that work there that you can tell hate their job, but that's at most...

SOLD BAD MEAT! I purchased an 8 price. My son never ate bad chicken before so he didn't know he ingested bad meat. I had 2 pieces. My first piece was fine but the wing had smushy meat. We all know that smushy fried chicken meat means its bad. They fried bad meat, and sold it to the public. My son became ill that night. His stomach bubbled, he had nausea and diarrhea. Below is the text he sent me. I returned the chicken that wasn't accidentally eaten, and to add insult to injury, the manager, Ms. Glenda charged me for the pieces that made my son sick. They made my child sick, and she charged me! I'm befuddled and insulted. What kind of company is this? They don't deserve anyone's business. They don't deserve mine. I'm definitely calling the health department. What is wrong...
