Juneau's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Louisiana

This place was phenomenal! My friends and I stopped here for lunch after doing a swamp tour that was located down the street, and the reviews for Juneau's were ON POINT with how great the food was. The place wasn't too crowded when we arrived, and we were able to find a place to sit. You could tell it was a spot where locals go because everyone knew everyone and kept greeting each other and saying goodbye when they left. Juneau's was super efficient even during the lunch rush, and Ms. Nina Romaguera couldn't have been kinder to take our order! The atmosphere reminded us of our small local spots back home in Georgia. The batter on the onion rings was so wonderful and they were deliciously crispy, the burger I had tasted very homemade, but the best thing was the sweet tea (outside of Ms. Nina's welcoming hospitality)! I have never received a mediocre sandwich from here. The staff is always warm and welcoming. The food is always the same (excellent). From rhe Po-boys, the plates and the onion rings are to die for. The owner Nina, always knows what I want, even if I haven't been there in a month or two! They are always taking donations for people who need surgery and can't afford the Dr. or hospital bills. She even puts out displays for children that are selling things for schools, such as candies, chocolates and such. And puts out jars to collect money for missing children and the elderly. Last time I was in there a lady named Donna was harassing a dear dear dear friend of mine my little sis as long as that woman stays there and harasses another employee which is unacceptable and y'all let it continue I will tell my friends and family I will never go there again or spend my money at all I've been going to y'all for years though I will tell my family and friends howco workers are being treated like that !
