Winn-Dixie — Local services in Marrero

To start off my trip I walk up to the store & a worker is sitting on the curb on her phone talking about everything she hates about customers. Then I proceed to the seafood area because I came for shrimp. The lady working the department is on the phone fussing at I'm assuming is an employee telling her they were going to be late from what I heard. When she gets off the phone I asked her if they had anymore fresh shrimp because what was there was pretty much buried into the ice, it's mid day, but she tells me no, then proceeds to speak to another employee about the late employee, not in a very professional manner, nor another conversation I should've been able to hear. Moving onto checkout. The cashier is telling another employee something but they didn't hear. The cashier says well take your ear piece out then, in so many words I can't remember exactly what all was said & the rude verbiage but another unprofessional conversation I shouldn't have heard. I'm mainly making this review because within my 10 minute trip here it was uncomfortable in many ways & none of your employees seem happy, or even able to pretend they are. I haven't shopped here in a while but I'm sure I won't again. This location has went...

Winn Dixie carries quite a large supply of various items. I especially love BOGO & their boiled Seafood! The employees are always willing to help. & The store is always clean , Customer's service, allows you to send money & return items. I had a nice evening outing, checking out the

3/27/24 went to Winn Dixie for seafood 😋 The store was very clean & well stocked, There are markdown items, BOGO, & Freshly boiled & and fresh seafood & Fresh vegetables & Fruits on sale. friendly ,helpful staff more than willing to help you out. There is a lady specifically assigned to help people like me use self check out lines, getting us in & out quicker. I really ❤️ & appreciate that. 👍 👍 👍 !

Sunday 6/30/24 GET on over to Winn Dixie for the BOGO deals. Clean store, well stocked, store .Sales on various items & seafood! Delicious cooked meals to go, courteous, friendly, helpful staff. A coupon printer in front of the store for extra savings.

I've been pleasantly surprised with the Winn Dixie discounts lately. In the past, it appeared that their 'discounts' were superficially exaggerated by raising the price before the discount and especially the "Buy One Get One Free" offers. However, after their brand revitalization, it appears that they are trying to get it right with regular genuine good deals and some really deep discounts on random occasion to keep products moving. (Gotta love that "Treasur Hunt" experience)

I'd love to give them a 5-star rating but I believe that it would be doing them a disservice because there is room for improvement to be considered with the self-checkout system user experience.

While there is nothing technically 'wrong' with it, and seemed like impressive technology when first introduced, it is a bit counterintuitive in several ways and especially when working in conjunction with the Winn Dixie app.

I'm curious to know what others think...

The incentives and the "Treasure Hunt" experience can be significantly enhanced with proper easy to follow promotions...
