Our first time at KC’s Place and it did not disappoint! I had the pork tenderloin sandwich, which was massive and absolutely delicious. It came with a side of crispy fries that were just the right touch. My friend went with the French dip, and it was packed with a generous portion of ribeye that was perfectly seasoned and tender. We also tried the Chef’s Salad, and wow—it was amazing! Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance to the hearty sandwiches. It’s clear this spot is a favorite among the locals, and we were lucky enough to stumble upon it as tourists. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

The photo was of my BLT that I waited at least an hour for. Do you see the tomato? Probably not, as it was 1 small slice, cut thinner than my fork. The chips were cold and soggy. The waitress argued with me that my soda, was diet (it most definitely was not). We have been regulars, but this was not a good experience in any way shape or form. Only one waitress on a Saturday night.

What can I say about K.C. Place… very great atmosphere calm relax, place great and friendly people. One of those cozy, homemade restaurants that you would want to take your family to every week. Lots of stuff to look at it on the walls. The decorations are excellent.. they even have a Buffay, which is awesome because they’ve been dying out since Covid.

Searched and found this little gem of a restaurant when we got hungry while taking a scenic drive up 79. It's a fairly typical small town restaurant, tables, chairs, nothing fancy. Family friendly. They have a small fresh salad bar and even a small hot food bar. An impressive variety of menu selections! We shared everything we ordered. The thinly-sliced Fried Pickle Chips appetizer seemed hand-breaded, maybe beer battered?, (definitely NOT gritty cornmeal), and it was just the right amount of breading. They were piping hot and really good! (included ranch for dipping).

We also ordered a Steak Sandwich with Dinner Fries. The sandwich came with grilled onions and mushrooms on a hoagie type roll. It was SO full of flavor, completely delicious!!! Would definitely order again! The flavorful marbling in the meat made it harder to take a clean bite, so I just cut up the meat and put it right back on the bun, it was wonderful!

Also ordered Fried Shrimp and Clams dinner, came with 1 side, chose homemade chips, and it included 1 trip to salad bar.

Salad was cold and fresh! Good selection of toppings and dressings. Iceberg lettuce, fresh mushroom slices, onions, hard boiled egg chunks, both black and green olives, shredded cheese, cottage cheese, watermelon chunks, and I can't even remember what else, endless combinations for a truly tasty salad! Chose the Peppercorn dressing. It was a truly tasty and refreshing salad. (Hint: I saved a few watermelon chunks to eat as dessert, yum!)

The Fried Baby Shrimp and Fried Clams (fairly small sized), with our side choice of the Homemade Potato Chips were all good too, but fairly typical.

Before we ordered, we had asked the waitress for any recommendations and popular items, she said hands down the Steak Sandwich, also Monterey Chicken, and the Pork Filet were all really very good. Can't wait to come back and try the others!!!

Service was fast and very friendly (Friday 730pm)....

They need a new wait staff. I will say the food is great, but the service is some of the worst I’ve seen. And this is not just a one time experience, but three separate occasions. We love the food, but sadly won’t be back. We were there last night and it was just the last straw. We had to get up and ask for refills and order our Togo order, and the waitress was behind the counter counting her tips instead of taking care of us. My husband never got the beer he ordered. The first two times we ate there, we had a young, blonde waitress who acted like she had much better things to do than to be there. She was smug and not helpful at all. Even worse, the owner has been there all three times and these only stepped in to help one out of the three times we were there. It seems they are all more concerned with closing down and getting out of there early than taking care of customers. We are really good tippers too, so that is not the problem. We will tip 30-40% for...

Very disappointed on Sundays buffet. Arrived at 1:20 pm. Salad bar was good. Servers kept walking around, no one refilled our drinks. Fried chicken, only a couple of pieces. The pan of fried chicken the whole time while sitting and eating was never filled....and our bill was $27.00, plus for two people. We sure did not get our moneys worth. Toward the end of our meal the server asked if I wanted my drink to go, and asked I asked the server, if they were putting any more chicken out. The server went back to the kitchen to find out and came back and said it will be 20 more minutes. By then, we were ready to go, then 2:15 pm. There were still customers left in the restaurant, also waiting for the cook to put more chicken out. We don't care...
