We saw all the reviews pointing to the all you can eat buffet in the casino so we almost missed out on this gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the money was reasonable to any other decent restaurant in LaFayette area. The crab "bisque" was more of a chowder than bisque, but the Ribeye.....oh my goodness. My husband and I are picky coming from Texas about handing out the word, "excellent," when it comes to steaks. I don't know what it is that sets their steaks apart, but it is a must try!! I underline a must! I am not crazy about crab cakes in the south either, as New England usually handles the best ones. They had huge lumps of crab and were cooked perfectly. The steaks were so excellent we plan on going out of way in future trips to make sure we try it again. The actual name of the restaurant has a cute historic story to it also.

We had a reservation for a party of 11 including 2 children. The atmosphere is chill and nice. The manager and waitress checked on us several times. Overall was ok and the service was great but the food was average. The portion size was nice but my chicken florentiene was bland. It came with garlic mashed potatoes which I enjoyed and as the other side I got rice dressing; it needed more seasoning and was just basic. The entrée itself was fried and mostly breading over a small chicken breast. It could have used more seasoning but putting the spinach and sauce over the chicken made it a soggy mess. There weren't many thing on the menu that I desired so I settled for this. I only went to this restaurant because of my dad's birthday dinner but I prefer Infusion (better food) or the Lil pizza spot. Probably won't be back.

Love this place. Waitress was fun and attentive. Food is so good and the drinks are even better! Definitely recommended 💯

I typically don’t post reviews (either good or bad) but this restaurant definitely deserves a poor rating. My husband and I live in Lake Charles. As such, we have access to some high quality restaurants that offer stellar food and service. Perhaps my expectations are too high, but the food in this restaurant is lacking in every way. I ordered the filet with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. My husband ordered the filet with crawfish cornbread with a wedge salad. The wedge salad was standard. It had a stong mayo taste but was otherwise ok although it could use a balsamic glaze IMO. Both filets were cooked to perfection but there needs some type of reduction sauce as it was just a piece of meat laying on a bare plate. The asparagus was cooked to perfection but they forgot the hollandaise sauce. My husbands crawfish cornbread was DRY DRY DRY....and the entire slice of bread only had two crawfish that we could identify. The wait staff was extremely friendly. Krystal was our server and she was great. The hostess was also extremely friendly. I really wanted to enjoy this meal but it left me wanting to go to the kitchen and teach the chef a few things. Get a new chef or revamp the menu or you will struggle to get...

We came in with a party of 12 about an hour and a half before closing, and Zoe the host was SO accommodating and helpful with getting us seated. The two waitresses were great I didn’t catch one of their names, but the other was Macie and she was amazing.

They brought us out some bread that was so soft, warm, and honestly just perfect it really held us over since we were starving after traveling all day. We ordered a mix of things the wedge salad with chicken, the Caesar salad, and a few burgers all were good! The nachos could’ve used a little more cheese to make them a 10/10, but the seafood on them was seasoned really well and kind of made up for it. I didn’t get to try the baked potato, but it looked sooo good!

Overall, it was a really good experience, especially considering we came in late and they still took care of us without rushing. My only wish is that they had a kids menu, but we made it work the kids shared some sliders and...
