Cunningham's Creekside — Restaurant in Louisville

So this was our first time coming to this establishment and unfortunately, we did not have the best experience in all honesty, mainly me. I brought my family out and it consists of Me, my wife and our 2 kids. Now, thankfully, my wife and children love their food. Unfortunately, I could not take a bite. Or try it because I have allergy and diet restrictions. So I tried to order the white fish dinner. Because I can actually have that on my diet. But unfortunately, when it came out, the entire plate was cold. But my wife and my kids. Food was hot, warm and ready, but mine was still cold. I can't eat fish if it's cold. I can't eat rice if it's cold and how in the world do you guys send out a baked potato That's cold. Now, thankfully, our server did take it off our seat and offered me a key. Lime pie. Me thinking it was free because I had a bad service and a bad experience. It was not my server. Did not tell me that she would be charging me for the keylime pie. The way she offered it to me. I assumed it was free. Thankfully, the keyline pie was delicious and I don't mind paying for it when it's that good. I could tell that it was made with real ingredients and thankfully, I was able to have that because of my diet. But unfortunately I never got to really try my food and I was looking forward to this dinner so much. Because normally I cannot go out to eat where my children and wife go I cannot eat the food that they eat. So finally I found a spot where everybody could eat. But unfortunately, my experience was bad and my food was cold. I would like to come back and try the food, but I'm quite hesitant about it. Thanks believe my wife and kids aren't definitely willing to try it again. And because of them, I more than likely will try the establishment again but again. I am extremely hesitant towards it. Because what you are known for which is fish you sent out cold. I honestly wish I could have tried my meal. I really do but I was not waiting another 20 minutes for them to cook my food. I was not willing to wait that long. I have kids that needed to go to bed. So waiting another 20 minutes on my food. Would honestly just mean I have to put it in a box and reheat it when I get home which is more than likely disgusting Reheating fish in an oven or a microwave. Will definitely smell up your house. If the wait time wasn't so long for another plate, I would have been willing to wait and try it again, but unfortunately, you guys were so fat that you sent out cold food and we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our food with a four-year-old and a two-year-old. Again, my family wants to come back to the establishment, but I am very hesitant on coming back and I don't know if I should. I don't know that if I try the fish again, it'll be cold and again. My server will offer me a keylime pie and charge me for without telling me. Now, if you're wondering I never did give my server's name. I only saw her 3 to 4 times the entire time we were there. So, as you can tell, the service was not that great either. Cold food, bad service. But thankfully, my wife and kids enjoyed it. That would be the only upside that I have to the establishment at...

We have been longtime fans and patrons of Cunningham’s, going back to its days at the original location on 5th Street. I have always loved their fish dinners (2 pieces of fish and 2 sides). Up until COVID, they had their good tartar sauce available in plastic jars on the table. After COVID, they started placing in about 1 tablespoon sized portions. Not a problem, I always asked for 3 for 2 pieces of fish. Last week I was told by our waitress that anything over one container, they have to charge $.75 per container. I told her I want 3 total, as that I normally use. Sure enough, they charged me $1.50 for tartar sauce. So, I went to Kroger and purchased a small bottle of tartar sauce and brought with me this weekend. I was quickly told by our Waitress that I was misinformed and that for a dinner, you can have 4. I told her all I wanted was 3. She brought them to the table and all was well. Until….. the lady that seated up came by and said that I would have to take my unopened Kroger bottle to the car as the health department prohibited outside food in a restaurant. I informed her that I happen to be aware that was not true. The Jefferson County Health Department clearly states that while it is NOT a regulated prohibition, some restaurants may prohibit due to their personal policy. She then told us that she was the general manager and I could either take my tartar sauce or leave. Guess what my table of three did? You want to be greedy, that is your prerogative. Personally I would happily pay more for my meal and not be nickeled and dimed to death for condiments. But don’t pee on my leg and tell me it is raining, then when you are caught in your lie, throw me out. Said, because I loved their fish. But I will now find...

Came here this past Saturday for dinner and the way my mom and me was treated when leaving was horrible and very unprofessional and wrong! Me and my mom sat down to order our food while looking over the menu another patron offered to pay for both of our meals which I believe he did out of the kindness of his heart and me and my mom was greatful for that! After ordering our meals it took to long for our food to come out we waited close to one hour but to be nice we didn't complain and while eating on the back deck it was people in boats being loud on the water behind Cunningham's and one boat with only a few people on it parked their boat and came up the back deck to where me and my mom was sitting and asked if we could move because more people they invited were coming but it wasn't nowhere left to it because both the decks was already crowded with people eating and after me and my mom left and waitress very rudely came running after me and my mom saying we didn't pay our bill we told her another patron paid for our meal she said he only paid for our drinks but after looking at the receipt he did pay for both of our meals and this funky restaurant made us pay anyway even though our food was already paid for talking about she would get in trouble if we left without paying for our already paid for meal and lied to us about only our Miami vice drinks were paid for!
