Home Fresh Bistro — Restaurant in Louisville

My mother and I found this place by accident and we fell in LOVE!! We actually drive 45 minutes from Augusta, GA to eat lunch there once a month. We are going tomorrow so I thought I should take a second to give a quick review. The place is owned and operated by Mennonites so the food is always homemade from fresh indegrents (you can taste the better quality vs fast food ) and the atmosphere is always family friendly and inviting. The ladies are always so welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. Also you could eat off the floor its so clean, Major A++ on it cleanliness. I have tried five or six speciality sandwiches and they are all so good I can not have a favorite. I have enjoyed every sandwich or soup I have ordered from there. I have not yet tried there Thursday night pizza yet but I hear its wonderful. Also let's not forget the desserts... They have the best in the world. My mother and I sometimes will get a sandwich and split it just so we have room for a whole piece of Salted Caramel Cheese Cake each. ... Lol... My parents live right up the road from me so I see my mom dad just about daily but I truthfully enjoy the lunch dates me and my mom get to share together there. We don't invite my dad, not my brother or my husband. I get her all to my self once a month and I enjoy every second. Just me and her and I look forward to it each month. My wife and I stopped at Home Fresh Bistro for lunch on our way through Georgia. The restaurant is a family run business that was clean and the food was great. The service was friendly and fast also. Our orders were taken quickly, the food was brought out soon after, and our drinks were kept full.

I ordered the Grilled Cheese (and added ham to it). The bread on the sandwich was delicious. It really complimented the cheese and ham. My wife ordered the smoked turkey sandwich. She said her sandwich was good as well.

It's worth mentioning again how clean it was in the restaurant (including the bathrooms). It definitely was not a "dive"...
