We had a large group, called ahead, & arranged for a big table for all of our guests to be able to sit comfortably together, in the open section. We were told to be there an hour early, yes an hour, to get seating reserved. I arrived over an hour early to get the seating reserved. I waited & waited for our tables to get prepared. They were to busy standing around, on there phones, & talking & kept allowing people to sit in the the section that we had put our name on & reserved, over an hour before. I inquired several times, because I see they are not attempting to fill our reservation, which was promised to us, for our party guests. After over an hour passed, I inquired & was told again the checks are paid their just waiting for receipts, yet (2) different families, not sitting together, were still receiving refills & more food. They were only a party of (4) & another was a party of (3), siting on opposite ends of the tables, & they were able to leave several unused chairs in between them available, instead of being seated in an appropriate section for small families. By this point our guests were there & we are all sitting around waiting. We should have been able to be seated where we were reserved, especially waiting for over an hour to be seated. Instead of giving us what & where we were promised & had reserved to sit, we ALL we taken to a back corner, packed in to a small area, elbows touching, no room, couldnt move, couldn't talk comfortably with each other, & was totally disrespected by the manager. We wanted to leave, but of course everyone was hungry. There were (14) of us cramed & packed in to the smallest corner area in the back they could find. When we requested the manager, she came with a whole disrespectful attitude, & did nothing about it, just laughed & walked off. Now as far as the food, it was mid at best. We spent well over $400+, but you can believe one thing, none of us will ever go back to this location. We heard this was the worst Texas Roadhouse, but now we saw 1st hand. We had (3) disabled family members with us, that had to sit through this very, squeezed in, uncomfortable, not to mention hot, un...
Read moreThis Texas Roadhouse on Outer Loop is the worst. I been to all other Texas Roadhouse in Louisville Ky and never had this type of experience Like I had with the Outer Loop restaurant. Well on Saturday November 5th, we had a ladies night outing. So we decided to go to the Texas Roadhouse on Outer Loop. It was 8 of us. We arrived at 6:00pm we sign in. At 6:30pm we was still waiting to be seated. I went to the young and ask her how long will it be. She check and said well the guest had paid but they still seating at the table that they assigned for us. Give us a minute so they can leave and we can clean the table. At 7:00pm we still waiting to be seated. So my cousin went up to the young lady and ask her the same question. The young lady told her the same thing. At 7:15pm we still waiting to be seated. So my friend went up to the young lady and ask do we have to wait on just that table? Could we be seated somewhere else? The young lady was apologizing and said we can’t make no leave. We sorry for the inconvenience. By that time we was like can we just get another table. The young lady said we sign you all at this table. Well at 7:47pm we was called to be seated. When we got to the table, it was wet, and dirty. We ask for a manager, they told us the manager was off today. Well who is in charge? So some lady came to talk to us, but she wasn’t no help. The waiter came ( now he was the only positive out of this experience) he took our order and placed it. We didn’t get our food until 9:45pm. Let me remind you, we was seated and place our order at 7:47pm. When we got our food, my chicken was cold, my cousin steak wasn’t cook right, she send it back. My friend corn was cold, my cousin didn’t receive all her order. It was just a big mess. By the time we got everything right, the restaurant was closing. So we had to take our food to go. When I say that this was the worst experience ever, I meant that. I’m going to call the Corporate office Monday this just didn’t...
Read moreHello,
My daughter’s family and I visited the Outer Loop location in Louisville Kentucky on May 10, 2025 around 4:15pm. While we had an amazing server (I believe her name was Brittany?), our visit couldn’t have been worst! My daughter and I both ordered the 12 oz New York Strip. She had a loaded baked potato no sour cream and extra butter. I had a loaded baked potato extra butter and seasoned rice. We both asked for medium well temp on our steaks. The first plate came out and both steaks were well, well, well done. I’m talking I felt like I was chewing on jerky. They took them back and when the replacements came out, they were medium rare. Sent back again & they came out medium. By this time, we lost our appetites and were very frustrated. No manager ever came to speak with us which left our server profusely apologizing. Also while there, 2 huge trays of food were dropped. One at arrival and one while waiting for one of replacements steaks to come back. That one w as the worst. The server (not ours), was carrying a huge trays loaded with plates & tried to squeeze by 5 or 6 servers just standing by the order screens. My daughter was holding my 4 month old granddaughter and literally lunged forward to keep from getting hit. There was another table with a baby in a carrier seat that some of the food and broken dishes landed on the top of the carrier. The servers were arguing over whose fault it was instead of checking on the customers. Then, we overheard the server that dropped the tray, say to another table, “that was your food that she made drop.” The overall experience was HORRIBLE! Big to mention, I noticed when we were leaving that they have a “C” rating by the health department. The sign was blocked by a balloon column and a planter! Needless to say, I will NEVER sit foot in that...
