10/10 the best sushi I’ve had in Ohio. I’m a snob for Japanese food and I’ve been everywhere!
The guy who took my order was very nice. I told him about my sesame allergy. It was an in person take out order. They were done in 10 minutes with my sashimi deluxe order and clear soup.
When I got to my car, the rice did have sesame on top. I took it right back in, they profusely apologized, and then packed the new rice like extra full.
The pieces of yellowtail, tuna, white tuna, and salmon were a very generous portions compared to everywhere else. That is one thing that upsets me is if they put a super thin piece of meat on a huge chunk of rice (which is why I always order sashimi wherever I go). This meat was SO fresh, tender, melt in your mouth, perfect temperature. The rice was the PERFECT amount of sweetness and texture!
The clear soup was a little too spicy. I’ve never had clear soup with red pepper flakes before. I worked in a Japanese restaurant for my first job. So I know it is supposed to be beef and chicken base, french fried onions, and mushroom. Even with that said, it’s still a 5 star experience. I will be back to try everything!
The inside of the restaurant is small but very cool with intimate seating and decor. And SUPER clean which I love.
Very nice people, excellent service, large portions, quality is better than A1 or Wasabi in Canton. 🙏 Support this local business! 💜💜
Edit: I brought my husband back from round 2! Everything was so good. They made the soup for us again without the pepper because my husband has a pepper allergy. It was perfect 😭💜 We dined in this time! The music was so calming and songs we recognized. Expect comfortable R&B and friendly service. When we were getting ready to leave, they packaged up our food to go for us and wouldn’t let us do it ourselves. It’s the little extra customer service that sets this place apart. It’s very relaxing and wonderful place to be. They are always tidying the smallest details, and quality is clearly priority. 💜 I’m bringing everyone I know here. My new #1...
Read moreTried for the 1st time tonight. Overall the food is worth the price. The portions were your average amount for hibachi, which happens to be ALOT. I always get about 3 meals out of any hibachi I order and this is no exception. I ordered the chicken hibachi with a side of noodles. I wish the hibachi just automatically came with noodles so I don't have to remember to add them myself. The chicken was actually the best hibachi chicken I've ever had. Super tender without any gross grisle. The veggies were really good too. Although I did find the corn kernels in my rice to be rather odd for hibachi. The noodles were okay, but not the best I've ever had. The only thing I didn't like was the rice. It was bland and needed more sauce. It was a little on the dry side. I would eat here again, although truthfully I...
Read moreMy g/f and I tried this new place today. Slightly skeptical. We ordered: Crab Rangoon, Fried special roll (forgot name), chicken/steak hibachi with fried rice and noodles, chicken hibachi with fried rice and noodles. She said it would be about 25 min, but we got it in probably 10-15. That was star #1. Crab Rangoon, phenomenal. A little sweeter than I’m used too, but phenomenal. The fried special roll was on point and rolled perfectly. Both dinners came out hot off the grill and all meat was cooked to perfection. I was a little picky about veggies in my rice, and they did it perfectly for me. The amount of food you get is insane. Thank god they put it in to-go boxes when they bring it out to you. We only spent $53 and have left overs for days. Super nice staff, clean facility. We will be...
