Got a really nice coupon in the mail and figured we'd try it. When you get there, signs show the way to "Grille", not "Big Fork". (No problem.) In person, the menu is WAY bigger than the pathetic menu you'll see on bigforkloveland_dot_com. I ordered Fish And Chips; my wife ordered a Jalapeno Burger. Good thing we had the coupon, as meals were $18 each. As usual, we had the "opportunity" to tip before any service was received. No way Jose! There are outside and inside seating areas; the outside area is really nice due to being in the middle of a golf course. When our food arrived; we weren't given any silverware or napkins. My wife asked for and got both. I didn't and didn't. As for the food, it was just okay. The fish was pretty heavily breaded and hard-fried. It tasted fine. My order came with a massive load of fries; they were neither particularly good nor especially bad. I ran out of ketchup about a quarter of the way through my meal. Later, I had two bites of my wife's burger. It had a dominant bleu cheese flavor, backed by grille char. We agreed that we wouldn't ever order another one. After visiting, we had a discussion: why would they spend money putting out those coupons, which saved us $18? After discovering the place, are people going to come back just to eat there? We don't think so, and figure that they must make money off the one-time incremental business at this high-priced grille.

Second time I’ve ordered a burger after a round of golf, to go, and probably my last. At 12:30, cook just realized they were out of hamburger buns. She used Texas Toast but could not even butter and toast it right. Looks like it was just placed On the grill for a minute. I asked for the burger to be cooked medium, it was well done. Burgers come with fries, she only brought out the burger, had to wait for them while the burger got cold. She rushed cooking the fries, they were undercooked. No to go boxes, just wrapped in foil. First experience was about the same. The Olde Course has a nice new clubhouse and location for lunch but the Big Fork needs to get their act together.

Showed up to location for a nice lunch break we walked in and waited several minutes with no one acknowledging us but employee was in the store, in the dinning area cleaning and ignoring us. Not sure if it’s because we weren’t dressed “properly” or what the issue may have been. But we walked out and found a new restaurant thanks to this restaurant we wasted most of our lunch break because of poor service can’t even rate the food because we were never even acknowledged, how frustrating to spend most of my lunch...
