Taco Bell — Restaurant in Lower Providence Township

Employees are awesome everything was perfect even though we customized everything. A++ (was my 5 star review)

They're usually on point and rarely mess stuff up (that's why this is my go to taco bell even though Phoenixville is closer) but today was different. So I'm dropping my previously 5 star review.

So, today. We placed a moble order and we always give a 15 min buffer time. But it wasn't ready.

In fact the cashier was basically working crowd control when I walked in. There were 4 other customers ahead of me waiting for something or other. Within a few min she had someone taken care of.

Their order had been messed up and but was fixed. And they let them keep the items that were wrong cool.

But it was basically at this point I realized 2 of the 3 left were waiting on their orders being corrected. I used to manage at Wendy's I get how it can be at times. I really do.

Manager was the problem. HANDS DOWN. The guy ahead of me needed a refund. The cashier (nicest person in the universe) told him he had to wait a minute for the manager. Who ended up literally saying no.

Why? I couldn't say.

Meanwhile I get my food and seeing how they were messing up orders left and right I HAD TO check for accuracy. I was spending $60+ for the family.

I didn't even leave the building I went over to a table and pulled EVERYTHING (almost) out of the bag.

One set of the steak sliders were missing. So I told her immediately. She apologized and informed the kitchen.

10 minutes go by I get a bit antsy. 15, minutes they're finally getting that guy a refund. 20 minutes they're finally fixing the other guys messed up order.

She's apologizing and saying how busy they are. You ARE NOT BUSY, YOU ARE UNDER STAFFED AND THE MANAGER IS ON THE LINE MAKING THE FOOD AND COMPLAINING. You have 3 cars in the drive thru. And a couple people in the lobby, only one of which is ordering food the rest are waiting to get their orders fixed.

10 min later. The cashier says to me "the kitchen says they made your sliders but they'll make them again anyway, but you'll have to wait."

It had been almost 40 min at this point. Accused of lying? I'm like " I didn't leave the store, the bag is right here."

Anyway they were in there on the bottom of the bag crushed under the nachos. Meanwhile the other set of sliders where on the top. Why would I anticipate finding them under the damn nachos?

Oh and they barely gave us any of the queso.

So yeah. I didn't know but if you told me the kitchen was convinced I was lying from the start I wouldn't have stood there like an idiot for...

Updated on Sept 13, 2024 I got a box with 1 Beefy layer burrito, 1 Beefy Chalupa Supreme, 1 Double stacked taco, 1 Chips and Cheese, and 1 medium drink...all good except Chalupa. Chalupa is my favorite and Chalupa is the only reason that I go to Taco Bell. Unfortunately, Taco Bell is loosing the overall quality of Chalupas, not only this location. I am not sure I will go back to Taco Bell again because of the Chalupa's poor quality issue.

Previous Review... I picked up and ate 'Build Your Own Cravings Box' after Mobile order at this location: Pepci, Nacho, Chalupa Supreme, and Beefy Burrito. My food was nicely packed in the box and fresh that I like most except Chalupa. I am not sure whether or not it is this location's problem because I haven't been to Taco Bell for about a year. Chalupa tssted fresh, but its inside stuff was much less than my previous experiences. I go to Taco Bell because of CHALUPA, so I was a little bit disappointed by the much thinner Chalupa because of the poorly stuffed even though it was freshly and tasty prepared. Nope!!!! Bunch of young kids (smokers) nasty food. Meat smelled bad so I couldn’t bite it. Cinnamon little donuts were hard like they been there all day. Cinnamon twists had no cinnamon flavor on it. And they gave me not hot fries at the window and agreed to do them over if I pulled around to front then brought me a half of bag (no exaggeration) of steaming hot fries. My last time. I am good. This is what u get when u let the youngins run the store in the evening. Like they care. Sad.

Definitely needs to do better. Companies need to hire better and hold these dang disrespectful children out of jobs. By far, I will continue with chic filet where the kids have personality and purpose.

Sorry. That was a big NO for ever going there again, even if u wanted to go me a voucher for free food. Totally disgusted and still hungry. Waste of money!

I recommend trying around peak hours as they have to make the food fresher. After 7p, it’s what been sitting...
