This place was great! Simple, fresh, delicious and by the water! We experienced an amazing sunset during our dinner. The fish was off the boat. Literally. The owner was cutting filets of swordfish as we sat down! We started with the peel and eat shrimp. Ginormous! Yummy! I ordered seared John Dory and it was amazing! I have never had John Dory before and it tasted so good. Not fishy at all. It was served with a dill sauce that was super delicious. A great combination not only with the fish but with the French fries. I have celiac disease and everything I ate was gluten free. Billy, the owner, said they have a fryer exclusive for french fries and the oil used is fresh everyday! So no cross contamination. All kinds of fish that are prepared either blackened or seared are gluten free! Yummy! My kids had the crab cake and the fish fingers. They loved it. Crab cake was all gone. The Fish fingers dish was really big. Lots of fingers and french fries so my son couldn’t finish but he was really happy with it. My husband had the John Dory Sandwich and he was very pleased. Our aunt and uncle who are locals love this place and go there often. They love the fish tacos. The place is BYOB but they offer a variety of local Cape May wine bottles for sale. No wine by the glass though. Overall we had a terrific time with our family and enjoyed a beautiful sunset! We felt very welcomed and taken care of! Thank you Billy and all Hooked Up Seafood staff! We will definitely be back.

Me and my wife went to hooked Up seafood the other day ordered the fish tacos and steamers everything was absolutely delicious the atmosphere was great right on the water fishing boats there is a really great atmosphere The fish tacos were delicious with the mango sauce and pineapples the spicy sauce they put on it was absolutely phenomenal highly recommend this place to plan on going back again I’ve been craving it ever since I went there The next time we go we’re 100% going to try the scallops and crab cakes we saw other people eating them and they looked very good. You got to get there early when they open because there’s not much parking first come first serve on the parking situation but overall in conclusion the restaurant is definitely five stars they only use the highest quality food comes right off the boat they cook it right out back the steamers in the white sauce was absolutely delicious not overpowering garlic very very very good If I haven’t said so already I would highly highly recommend this restaurant to anybody passing through Wildwood right over the Rio Grande Bridge it’s a great spot to stop after you spend all day at the beach I have a bring a green sweatshirt and gets a little bit windier on the bay outback on the deck overall five stars highly highly recommend it

Having never been to Wildwood before, my husband & I decided to do a quick search of seafood places near us that were open for lunch & not too terribly far from our hotel. I just have to say THANK GOODNESS we kept scrolling through the establishments that were closer to us with even higher star ratings (we can't quite figure out how Hooked Up Seafood doesn't have a PERFECT FIVE STAR rating for the life of us). Our lunch was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Every single thing we ordered, which was quite a lot (50 clams, 2 shrimp tacos & a dozen crab claws) was pure sweet, melt in your mouth, seafood perfection. Every meal was fresh & quickly prepared while we waited (less than 4 minutes for the first part of our meal to arrive). It's a cute little place with a road side foodstand sort of vibe to it. They dock their fishing boats just out back, so you know the 'catch of the day' is really, truly fresh. The staff is exceptionally friendly & eager to help you with not only their menu (& how to most effectively get the most delicious meat from the claw) but also pointed out the best local 'hotspots' we should be sure not to miss. We have to be honest, although we were less than impressed with Wildwood in and of itself, we believe it would be worth the 6 hour drive to visit again, if only to have another incredibly delicious meal from here. We truly thank you for such an incredible...
