Taqueria Casa Mia — Restaurant in Lower Township

Unfortunately for this review, I don’t have photos. O.M.G. This restaurant is nothing less than FANTASTIC!! We ordered 2 birria tacos, one American taco, one beef beef tongue taco, one birria burrito, one salad, and one shrimp taco. Let me just say, there is a reason this restaurant was 4.9 stars (currently), because when I tell you EVERYTHING was impeccable, I mean it. So we originally were planning on dine in, but we had a larger party, and there wasn’t much room in the restaurant. We decided to just order and pick up, which took roughly an hour. When we got the tacos and brought them home, we originally thought they wouldn’t be super good since they weren’t fresh, but boy were we wrong. The birria tacos and burritos were just absolutely amazing. The one this is I wish I got MORE! The salad was great, and so was the American taco. The beef tongue taco was great considering we have never had beef tongue. The shrimp taco was also excellent. Maybe they would’ve tasted better fresh, which is crazy because if they tasted that good sitting around for roughly 20 minutes, I can only imagine fresh. Edit for 2025 I came here when it first opened up and it has held up! We got take out and I ordered the chorizo quesadilla Alambre and it was Divine. The flavor profiles are so well rounded. The staff cares a lot about their food and presentation. Salsa have an excellent range of spice levels. And the rice and black beans! I didn’t know black beans could have such flavor! My whole family loved their meals. I cannot wait to come back to try all of their food! This is a must stop!

We had a great time here. Food allergy friendly as I have a shellfish allergy and ppl at my table ordered shrimp.

We started with guacamole and salsa. Guacamole was mild salsa was spicy. Then we had Alambre carnitas tacos and quesadillas, shrimp and steak quesadillas (mayo on top), and governor’s tacos that were shrimp. Highly recommend all.

Interior was nicely decorated and clean. Service was friendly and quick.

Highly recommend this place!! Take out or eat in!

Wanted to stop in because it looked so new and clean when we rode past…. Ordered take out over the phone the next night. Woman that answered the phone was sooo sweet and attentive to detail of the order. Fiancé ordered tacos americanos, I ordered quesadilla shrimp & steak and we split the nachos…. Walked in and the inside blew me away!!! Gorgeous painting on the wall…. Everything brand new and beautiful…. Place was jammin… people sitting down….. phone ringing, people coming and going to pick up take out. I hope the staff working the front and cooking were the owners because they had smiles ear to ear and it would only make me wanna eat there even more to support their new business. Quesadillas were awesome!!! Fiancés loved his tacos and the nachos were great!!! Portions were big. I ate half the quesadillas and now I have lunch tomorrow. Everything was fresh!
