I said to the cashier that I wanted 2b the Quarter Pounder with cheese and bacon $8.79 listed on the board. I asked if they have military or senior discount and she said no. She asked for the drink. I said tea and she said they were out of tea. That is the same thing the McDonalds in Pensacola, FL said. Is McDonalds no longer serving tea and tell everyone they are out of tea? This is the South I said and tea is a must. I had to repeat what I wanted 3 times. Three times I said I wanted 2b Quarter pounder with cheese and bacon $8.79. I said the meal that comes with fries and a soda. $8.79. Third time. What is the cost. $11.11 she said with tax. She hands a cup over the counter. Guess they do not trust customers to get a right size cup. I get the drink, check the receipt and she rang up $10.19 for the meal plus tax. She upgraded my order to a double bacon QPC Meal with diet coke. Plus .92 tax equaled $11.11.
I said, this is not what I ordered. I ordered number 2b Quarter Pounder with Cheese Bacon meal for $8.79. Not a double burger for $10.19. Then she proceeded to argue with me. I asked if she takes liberty with every ones order and put whatever she wants and when they get down the road they find that they did not get what they ordered but whatever she wanted to charge them. Of course, she did not expect an 80 year old to notice her upgrading my orded and over-charging me. Several people got involved. I asked if she saw double burger up there. I never asked for a double burger. She never asked me if I wanted a double burger and how much more a double burger would cost. Why would she take it upon herself to upgrade my order to a double burger is a mystery only she knows. They decided to refund the money which they did not. They gave the correct order and gave some change back without explanation. Then sitting there eating the food I looked at the change on the table and saw $1.26. $11.11 - $9.58 = $1.53 . I said to her that they owe me .27 cents. She said, "We don't owe you nothing. You got your change." I asked how much was the change and she said she did not know but you got your change. We don"t owe you 27 cents. Well ask the manager. The manager was there and did not say anything or reach out to me to explain what the change or difference was. They just laughed between the two of them. Then I looked under the fries and there was 27 cents. So she laughs and goes back to tell the others that the 27 cents was on the table. I said you had a good laugh on me. So be it. Even the photo of the two receipts are acting up and photographing sideways even when turning the camera to straighten then up. Guess I straightened her out. Don't worry. I will not stop there again....
Read moreWent today on the way home from vacation. Made a mobile order. Pulled up. Guy brings out happy meal and drinks. We show him our order and he leaves to go get the rest of the food. I looked to see if the drinks were right and they weren't. If nothing else, we were missing a sweet tea. The cokes looked like tea and what I mean is there was no bubbles. And then there was a sprite where there should have been a sweet tea.. When he brought out our food we informed him the drink order wasn't right. He took the drinks and left. We waited and waited and saw him bring food to other cars. I went inside. Upon entering I was scolded because they're closed so I told her I just want my drinks so I can leave. She asks what I ordered and I repeated it 3 times. She insisted with an ugly attitude that the drinks were correct. I brought the drinks back out and tasted one of the cokes and of course it was coke, just completely flat. And then we were still missing the sweet tea. My husband went inside. They don't do refunds for mobile orders. I've been in contact with higher ups and am supposed to hear from the owner. But if the reviews are right on other sites, the owner will just say he is sorry we feel this way. This is the worst experience I've ever had at any McDonald's and I am probably never going to eat at...
Read moreThis location absolutely sucks. We stopped by here on our way home from the beach and it took 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us on the intercom. When my husband said HELLLLLOOO she said “give me a minute”. We then ordered and while ordering the woman wan talking to her coworkers and missed the last two items on our order so we had to tell her at the window to add the two things. They then had us pull forward to wait on fries. We waited for 8 minutes as 3 cars behind us got their orders and left. My husband went inside and waited for our food. He came out about 10 minutes later with our food. He said the woman inside told him the McCrispy we ordered takes 7 minutes and he said well you told us we were waiting on fries and it’s been 16 minutes. He said the workers were all inside talking, arguing with each other and someone was on a FaceTime call by the food and sitting down. A GrubHub person was also waiting inside and told my husband he’d been waiting about 10 minutes before my husband went inside. Definitely this location and go to another one that’s not off on the side road. By the time we got our food, my husbands 2 cheeseburgers he ordered were cold so he brought them...
