American Legion Hall — Restaurant in Lubec

I am an Air Force widow travelling in my RV around the country doing missions for veterans when I can. I came to this Post and asked just to boondock in the parking lot overnight, no hook ups or anything. Most members were very welcoming but a couple of them were not. One for my political views and the other was a woman who just said it would be better if I would just leave. I have stayed at many military facilities, VFW posts, and American Legion posts and I have never had anyone treat me like that before. To those who welcomed me I thank you. And to those who did not, I have no words. Thank you to Hope for giving me the green light that it was OK to stay because I did not know where else to go being from New Mexico and unfamiliar to the area.
