My burger was excellent - so much so that we ordered twice in one week but the first time was online and the second time was in person. I ordered the same thing each time and it will be my go to from now on bc you don’t mess with greatness (bbq bacon cheeseburger w grilled onions). The weather was nice the day we decided to eat there in person and we went in between lunch and dinner. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is actually based on our in person experience. The first thing I noticed is that pricing is a little lower when you order online for some reason. As I ordered I also saw a sign in the window that said you can get a punch card if you like them on Facebook which I thought was great because I know we’ll eat here often. When I asked the employee about it after liking the business she told me that she didn’t have any. My last thing to nitpick is that it was a really nice sunny day out and only one table had an umbrella. Thankfully the man who was eating at that table finished as we ordered and we were able to sit and enjoy our food at that same table. When we left the next two people who came along sat at that same table so I think they should probably get at least one more umbrella out there as it gets nicer out. These are all small things but I noticed all of them and I think the loyalty one was probably the biggest miss for me. The difference in pricing was also a little weird but won’t keep us from ordering in person bc it’s not a huge difference but it is pricier at the truck. Anyway, still the best burgers we’ve had in a while and I’m happy to keep...
Read moreKelly's Family Farm Burgers was a place I have been wanting to try for some time now. Last weekend I finally did, pulled in after 5 the place was a little slow, the cooler temperature and wind didn't help. The place looked like it could be a nice hang out on a nicer night. Corn-hole was there waiting to be played. I ordered my burgers, $9 for a bacon burger. while the burger itself was good I found myself wishing it was bigger. They are really coming up short with burgers that good at a price that high to not have fries. The chips offered was limited and disappointing along with the single can beverage I got. Kelly’s at that price make some fries for the love of God please make fries, maybe even get a fountain drink machine or at least bigger bottles maybe! Also, being the beef supplier, I would think the price would be lower for what you get I wasn’t overly impressed and would rather spend my money for a burger equally as good at 5 Guys or Fuddruckers. Guess you must pay for farm to table even if its their table and farm. Will I be...
Read moreMy family and I have driven past Kelly's Family Farm Burger Stand many times on the way to church on Sundays and we've always wanted to try it out. Our way home from taking our son to the skate park in Allen, we finally got the chance to stop. It's a simple outdoor setup, with covered picnic tables to eat at, cornhole and washers for hanging out. Menu is pretty straightforward. All burgers come with cheese, chips and a drink. I was feeling hungry and adventurous, so I wanted to try their Cattle Baron(quad meat and cheese), but after my wife and son told me they want me to survive to see my boy grown and married, I opted for the Wrangler(triple meat and cheese). Patties are 1/4 lbs each, they put cheese between the layers, so it was like a meaty and cheesy karate kick to my taste buds! This ain't no dainty, wannabe healthy burger. It made my chest hair thicker. A bald eagle even tried to fist bump me after finishing it. If you have a craving for a delicious, juicy, cheesy, meaty burger, this place has...
